We had wood floors laid in our dining room and study. We are very pleased, Rob has made an excellent job. Thank you. Henry was very helpful and understood exactly what we wanted. We have used Wood & Stone Floors before and would be happy to recommend their service and product quality.

My wife and I came across Wood and Stone Floors by happy accident and we are so glad we did, from the first time walking into the showroom and meeting Guy through to the perfect installation of our floor by Paul we could not be happier. I am a difficult person to please and set the bar quite high but Guy and Paul absolutely exceeded any expectations I had.When we first visited the showroom on Linton Hill we were met by Guy, he was patient and listened to what we thought we wanted, after a very long conversation and looking at many many samples Guy offered to come to our house with the large sample boards so that we could get a better feel of what the floor would look like. A few days later Guy came round with our selected boards and another sample that we had dismissed initially and it was this sample that we ultimately went with as it was perfect in the space that we had - This is where Guys knowledge and experience pay off. So, order placed it was now just a waiting game for the mill to produce our board and get it delivered. Unfortunately the mill stopped the production of our chosen board but Guy was on it immediately, he communicated with us constantly, he sourced other boards that he knew were a close match, we selected a new floor somewhat nervously but knew we were in safe hands.All I can say about the installation is wow!, Paul has an eye for detail that is unmatched, he overcame problems and is so methodical in his work that even before the skirting went on all of the cuts were perfect. Paul was so careful and clean, constantly sweeping up and making sure that our room remained tidy.It is rare now to find such conscientious, friendly and helpful businesses that hold your hand and guide you with zero pressure from start to finish. We have already decided that as the house renovation progresses we will 100% be returning to Guy and Paul for the flooring through the rest of the ground floor.Thank you both for taking the stress out of our installation and for being so professional and friendly, we could not be happier.

We wanted flooring in keeping with the 16th century house we’re renovating. We also wanted to source this locally, if possible. Wood and Stone Floors were the stand-out supplier in meeting these criteria, offering both an extensive range of materials suitable for under-floor heating, but also characterful and of outstanding quality. The cathedral flagstone and distressed oak engineered flooring we chose were good value for such quality and they look sensational in the rooms where they’re installed.Henry was helpful from the outset and very patient in helping us come to a decision, with nothing being too much trouble, including the challenges posed by the Covid 19 lockdown. He completely engaged with us and has been a pleasure to do business with.I have no hesitation in recommending Wood and Stone Floors.

Recently I have had my lounge carpet replaced for an engineered oak herringbone floor. It was a huge decision with my young daughters thinking carpet would be warmer. With trepidation I went for transformation rather than upgrading. Wood and Stone Floors offered excellent customer services and I was delighted with the end product. I made the right decision. The after care service was good and I appreciated Henry coming to look at the end product some days after it was completed to see if I was happy with the work. The fitters were efficient and hardworking.

Our experience was outstanding from our first visit to the Linton based Showroom. After delays caused by Lockdown, we were keen to get our renovation works started while our builder & fitter had an 'open window'. Henry listened to our project plans and took onboard our tight deadlines. He guided us through the selection process (engineered wood) with great knowledge & no hard selling. Henry always responded promptly and efficiently to queries raised by us or our builder. Seamless service continued even when we decided we wanted extra detailing items supplied.

We've had our floor down for 2 months now and we're very pleased with the finished result and quality. We initially wasted weeks with some online companies but eventually gave up and went to Wood and Stone Floors' showroom in Maidstone. They have a great selction competitively priced. The Salesman called Guy was very accommodating and helpful.
