Sing in the City

Joining Sing in the City is one of the best things I have done, everyone is made very welcome, it's fun and very friendly. The Sing in the City team are a very caring lot, I'm delighted to be a member of the Sing in the City family. If you are swithering whether to join a choir don't be shy I would wholeheartedly tell you to phone the office and book yourself a free taster session, you won't regret it!

An amazing choir with very friendly and supportive people in the choir and running it. Wouldn't be without my dose of singing at the choir as it is so uplifting, good fun and amazing for your Mental Health too. I highly recommend anyone joining and having a go and soon you'll be part of one big happy family.

I joined Sing in the City almost 5 years ago because I wanted to meet new people and to sing together -one of my best ever choices! The staff and members have been so caring and friendly- both before during and moving out of the pandemic. During lockdown it was wonderful to still feel a strong connection to 'my' choir .I have done things I didn't think I could and enjoyed the friendship, learning, laughter and the chance to sing both on stage and outdoors.

I joined Sing in the City in summer 2022. I’d never been in a choir before and I’m one of many who think they can’t sing…A few months later and I’m looking forward to performing with the choir in Princes St Gardens!Everyone has been super friendly and kind. I’ve made lots of great new friends. If you aren’t sure if this is for you, come and have a try out one night?No auditions, just kindness, friendship, lots of laughs and a cup of tea if you fancy it!

You just can’t beat that feeling of being in a room with people and hearing the sound surround you. That collective smile flashing round the room is something really special.The whole team behind Sing in the City are fantastic at what they do and the warm, safe, exciting environment they create at each choir will have you hooked and excited to experience more.People who started as strangers at that first rehearsal soon became close friends and now are my Sing in the City family. The variety of adventures and experiences I’ve had with Sing in the City over the years still make me smile, giggle and feel immense pride.Give it a go, it might just be the start of something really wonderful

Can't recommend this group highly enough. Best thing I've ever done. Great opportunity to make new friends, build confidence or just for a sense of being part of something wonderful. We've raise lots of money for charity and it feels so good to give something back while doing something you love. Free trial night. No audition. Go for it!

Joining Sing in the City was the best decision I made. I always loved singing but didn’t know where to start and one of my friend who has joined invited me to one of their concert. It was magical and I was totally sold! Joining a new group is always nervous but they welcomed me with open arms and made me feel so at home and secure. Since then I made so many good friends, met so many lovely people from other SitC groups - we shared a lot during lockdown through zoom activities and became firm friends, it’s like a one big happy family. Oh and the songs we get to sing. I love them all, fantastic repertoire they have. Now we’re allowed to sing together in a hall, I can’t wait for Wednesday night rehearsals. Thank you Sing in the City for bringing more joy in my life ❤️

I joined Sing in the City just a few months before Lockdown at a particularly low point in my life. The singing really helped lift my spirits and I was sad that that might all go with lockdown. However SitC provided a massive amount of support during the last 2 years, zoom singing, book club, keep fit, and many other activities. A fantastic service. Now we are back at choir it is lovely to be with such a great supportive group of people. The singing is great in itself but the coaches are such fun making the rehearsals a really enjoyable experience. I heartily recommend joining!!
