I'm completely biased as I'm a volunteer at BCB, and currently chair of the management committee, but even so, BCB is an amazing organisation, helping hundreds of people each week create award winning radio, teaching people new skills, and creating connections that otherwise wouldn't exist. It's a community anchor in our city, and a real asset.

I have to declare an interest here as I have been a BCB volunteer since 2008 but it is true to say that there is no where in Bradford like BCB and quite possibly nowhere anywhere like it! Through teaching our volunteers to make and broadcast radio, we change lives. Committed to giving a voice on the airwaves to folk not usually represented on main stream media, telling the stories of local people. Oh - and we are award winning! Get involved! You'll be amazed at what you can achieve.
