I started working for New Horizonz 6 months ago and from the 1st day, I was made to feel welcome. The training was positive and structured throughout the 2 weeks and enhanced the knowledge I had previously learned.I feel supported by all my colleagues not only within the home but throughout the company.The ethos of the company is fantastic. Since starting off New Horizons NW Ltd, we have come so far in the few years we have been established. Our staff retention is great and we have a great support system for staff development and support. Which in turn gives a positive experience for the children and young people we look after.

Excellent company to work for, I have worked my way up from a RCCW to now a deputy manager. The company strives to promote within the company and support staff well. staff teams work hard to make sure the young people receive the best quality care. staff are given quality training of a high standard.

I started as bank staff at the end of last year as I am a single mum and studying for a degree in child mental health. I have recently been offered a part time position which I jumped at the chance. I have loved being part of such a great team. Even as a bank member of staff I felt included and respected. The company really care for the young people and I am proud to now be a permanent part of their mission. I am so excited for my future within New Horizons, whatever that may look like.

I have worked for the company from the beginning. The ethos has always been around the quality of care we provide for the young people in our care. We promote individualism, support attendance at education, achieving their goals and ensure that each child has an input into their care. We work with outside agencies who can offer specific programmes for each individual.Over the years the company structure has changed but our focus on the young people has remained solid. The growth has improved all areas, and the management are extremely supportive of their staff, the best I have worked for.All our homes have a happy settled staff team which impacts positively on our young people.
