Katy is very knowledgeable and has a highly professional approach.With a bad back and knees that were giving way I had abandoned any thought of approaching any form of fitness. However with Katy's help I can now run a 5k, something I haven't been able to do for over 20 years.

Could not recommend more. After suffering for 6 years In pain I had lost hope until I started seeing Katy. It is thanks to her being so supportive, kind, and knowledgeable that I have seen a huge improvement both mentally and physically. Even when it may have got tough she has kept me going and even when setbacks occurred, Katy was very easily able to adapt my regime to suit all the needs. Alongside completing the runright online programme and doing sessions with mark to improve my running technique and form, I worked with Katy 2-3 times a week for around 4 months to improve my overall strength and stamina. My aim was to get rid of my knee pain, which was making it difficult to walk and impossible to run. Katy is a very knowledgeable, encouraging and inspiring person, who showed me how to complete exercises in a safe and controlled manner. She gave me the push and confidence to achieve and do exercises I didn’t think I was capable of and in doing so made me into a pain-free runner! She explained the anatomy behind the exercises and addressed any of my worries in a calm reassuring way, which gave me the confidence to succeed. I am very thankful to both Katy and Mark for all their help and support in guiding me to become a proper runner! Would highly recommend!

I started with katy because I needed some help getting back into fitness and wanted to learn some good techniques to support my home workouts. She sat down to understand my goals and limitations and then created a tailored program for me that gradually got me motivated again, but at a pace that suited me whilst still pushing me just enough. I’ve already lost lots of weight and feel super determined to keep this up. The facilities are pleasant and katy is lovely. Thank you so much!!

Katy is a dedicated, skilled and incredibly knowledgable personal trainer and running coach. She has helped with strength and endurance training, as well as running technique and detailed nutrition advice. Katy is so impressive the way she trains with you every step of the way, and knows exactly how to push you to achieve your best - she is a great motivator! I definitely wouldn’t be as fit, or injury free with my first couple of months ultra running - she has prepared me very well - one session with Katy feels equivalent to 50 miles, in a good way!! Couldn’t recommend more :)

Katy is absolutely incredible and has been an integral part of my recovery after a couple of hip surgeries. From a physical aspect, Katy is extremely knowledgable and experienced and she knows exactly how to safely and effectively guide you through a rehab programme at a rate that both achieves results, but is also manageable. From a service aspect, Katy is so committed, kind, compassionate and genuinely cares. She is an asset to Skipton and we are very lucky as a community to have her.
