A delightful shop based in an arcade just off East Street.A lovely range of homemade jewellery and customs available too. The owner Nattie and her team are so helpful. We love to support other local businesses and think Rare Thing is a real gem of Brighton. Please go check them out.

Pretty little shop that sells nice things and runs cool workshops. I took my daughter to a ring making workshop, it was really good fun for both of us and we both managed to make a really nice piece each. The shop uses recycled silver and the jewellery is all 'small batch' or one off pieces.They also sell other local maker items and art on a rotating basis so lots of fresh things to see. The lady owner was super friendly and knowledgeable, it was a relaxed fun day.

Rare Thing
A beautiful shop selling handmade recycled jewellery in the heart of Brighton. I recently visited to take part in one of the jewellery making workshops, where I learnt step-by-step on how to make my own rings. Nattie, who owns the shop, carefully took the group through the process from start to finish. Explaining each step thoroughly and helping each one of us to bring our creative ideas to life! She was super patient and shared her wealth of knowledge and experience behind jewellery making. If you’re ever in the area make sure to pop down as Rare Thing also house’s other local small business’ products, from homeware to art!
