Had a flying experience with Jim for my 21st birthday. Very professional and great fun. Hadn't been in the air long before Jim gave me control after clearly explaining the basics. It has sparked a desire to start lessons.Ollie was very approachable and easy to communicate with even out of hours. I will definitely be back.

Great flying club with friendly and experienced instructors available. The Robin is a nice aircraft to fly and easy to get used to after mainly flying the PA28 previously. Ollie is always approachable for bookings, even out of hours, and will accommodate as much as he can.

I had a fantastic flying lesson for my 18th. Ollie's easy-going nature meant the instruction was delivered in a fun and friendly way which was easy to understand and pick up quickly.The views were outstanding. An experience I will never forget and will be doing again very soon.I would highly recommend this service to those looking for the perfect flying experience.

I was bought a flying experience with CFC for my 40th Birthday and i couldn't have been in greater hands. The Instructor on the day was very knowledgeable and experienced and because of this, felt completely safe and got the most out of the lesson. I have been on other flying experiences before and this was, by far, the most enjoyable and informative. To top it off, i know that the club managed to liaise and organise the lesson with my Wife, out of hours, which shows flexibility and is refreshing to see a business going that extra mile. Thank you and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Recently had to build nearly 30 hours for an airline type rating, with a strict deadline. Ollie, the owner, was very friendly and accommodating and ensured this was completed without difficulty.Great location at Hawarden Airport - an Airbus Beluga base, which makes for some great sights. Long tarmac runway as well so don't have to worry about waterlogging.. Easy to get to via car. Nice restaurant on site.I don't have an SEP rating so had to do it all dual with an instructor. Instructors are fantastic, knowledgeable and approachable.Aircraft is a Robin HR200. Very nimble and responsive little thing that gets the jobs done. Open glass cockpit which means you get many unobstructed views!Airspace surrounding is challenging yet scenic, with LPL and MAN close by. Some great NAV routes to explore around England and Wales so is good for hour building.Would definitely recommend for anyone in the North of England or Wales to do PPL or Hour Building - prices are competitive and you'll definitely enjoy it!Thanks guys for helping me! :)

This flying experience was a gift from my sons for my 60th. Ollies communications were clear and timely and I had my session just this Saturday. I was looked after by Richard, who fully briefed me before and was keen to learn what I wanted from my time aloft. After take off he encouraged me to take control of the aircraft, and indeed for most of the flight. Knowing the flight path he could narrate where we were and what we were looking at, and allowing me to steer and bank in the direction under his guidance. It was so rewarding to see the world at a different speed and perspective to that usually glimpsed on a commercial flight.I fully recommend this experience for any friend or family member that has an interest in flight and 'how planes work' as an alternative to the somewhat detached experience when traveling on a holiday flight.

What an excellent experience ! The flight was a present for my 50th Birthday - and was worth every penny. Sincere thanks to Olly and Jim and the guys at Hawarden for making it such an enjoyable and accessible event. First-rate service - and I genuinely felt in safe hands. The Robin is a delightful little aircraft to fly - very responsive - and the perfect way to see this lovely area we live in..... It was just the perfect bit of escapism I was hoping for - and I certainly will be back very soon. Thanks, guys !

Having been bought a flying lesson voucher as a birthday present during a lockdown period I have been nothing but totally impressed with Cheshire Flying Club.Once restrictions were eased Oliver could not have made plans for getting airborne any easier. A pre-flight call the evening before my flight to confirm timings of arrival,name of instructor and a precautionary weather up-date made for an entirely relaxed build up.The day of the flight was just as smooth,communication was assured and coherent throughout. Flying in the Robin as a complete novice was a dream,total visibility and a totally confident pilot in Glenn who gave me more time to control the aircraft than I ever imagined.Even a follow-up call from Oliver post flight made the whole package a delight. There is nothing bad to say here,if you are looking for an experience where you are made to feel like a true VIP for a day,this is surely it. Thank you Oliver and Glenn.

My husband has just had a flying experience with Alex for his 50th, had an amazing time. Ollie has been fab at keeping in touch and making sure everything went smoothly, thanks guys he’s had the best day.
