Second visit & still just as awesome as the first!Had a truly amazing experience again at Hatchet Harry's with our charming host and manager Hellen. Cannot recommend this experience enough for people who have thought about this but yet to go through with it. Had a family next to us during our visit that we're giving it their all, so it's not exclusively just for adults. Hellen (manager) is very accommodating and knowledgeable of the craft and I would like to extend my thanks to her again for making the afternoon so welcoming and above all, safe.Check this place out, I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Hatchet Harry’s Axe Throwing - Derby
We had a great morning at Hatchet Harry's Derby.Our instructor Helen was really friendly and helpful, giving us plenty of help and encouragement. We were the only group booked in at 10am so pretty much had 1 on 1 teaching.Managed to get a few trick shots in and even got the axe in the target a few times. Great family fun and something a bit different. Will definitely go again.

Had such a fab time for my fiancés birthday! Instructed by Helen who was fantastic, super friendly and funny. I was a bit nervous about the axe flying back at me, but she made me feel very at ease. It’s all safe and fun! Would highly recommend.

Hatchet Harry’s Axe Throwing - Derby
Had my hen do here yesterday. 15 of us...and we all had the best time! Well organised, great fun, definitely different from usual hen activities. Our host was Helen, she was brilliant. Offered us training and individual tips for better throwing. Great competition at the end. Thank you Helen for starting my hen night off with a bang.....we all absolutely loved it!

Went for my birthday and it was just a brilliant time. Helen was an absolutely amazing instructor, and within a few minutes, I was lobbing axes with the skill and deadly precision of a true Norse warrior. Very thoroughly recommended.

We went to Hatchet Harry’s in Derby for the first time last night, and had a fantastic time.A lot of fun, in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.A special mention goes out to Alex - He’d only been working there for 3 days, and he did a great job of guiding us through the experience and introducing us to different techniques as we went along. We’ll definitely be back, and it’s in no small part to the way he looked after us.

Something different, fun for the whole family as kids 8+ can join in - went for a friend's birthday in a big group everyone got a equal go no waiting around for long periods. Helen was the lady looking after us she is wicked, really funny great banter and knowledge about throws and techniques would highly recommend Helen and her team at Derby. Thanks for a great day Helen you smashed it.

We went last night for a surprise for my birthday with me and my friends and it was amazing. The staff were so lovely and Helen guided us through how to do things and demonstrated and did the health and safety talks in a fun way. Felt like she was a friend you'd know all your life as she had such a welcoming and funny repertoire. Would highly recommend as the guy who was working with her was also lovely but I can't remember his name.

What a truly great experience.We went today for a friend's birthday party, met Helen (manageress) who took us through everything step by step.Helen really made the whole experience for us.Step by step instructions, gave us advice, training and a demonstration, constantly offered assistance, ran a fun competition and was really helpful with my daughter who needed extra support.A very enjoyable experience, well worth trying, lots of fun.Thank you Helen for a great time.

Great place, safe and clued up instructor Helen made sure we had all our fingers and toes after the 90 mins was over! Would definitely recommend, even with a group of 10 we were accommodated across 2 cages. Would definitely recommend!
