After I moved, Alex was recommended by another MLD specialist to help with lumpy scar tissue after my op. I was nervous seeing someone new, and with an hour's drive, I wasn't sure. However, I am so glad I went to see her. Alex is so caring, puts you at ease straight away and has such an excellent range of knowledge and skills. She also goes the extra mile to help resolve my issues and tended to my shoulder pain. I would not hesitate to go again and would highly recommend her.

After years of not knowing what my condition was and having my GPs ignore me and even wrongly diagnosis me I decided to do my own research. I found Alex on the MLD therapist list and never looked back.What an absolute star she is. Right from the start she made me feel welcome, comfortable and assured me I was on the right lines. She has guided me through all my self-care needs and her MLD sessions are second to none. Not only that, she even helped point my GPs in the right direction regarding my Lipoedema.To be honest, myself and my partner are so thankful we found her, she has not only helped me to improve my physical health but my mental health too.I would not recommend anyone other than Alex!

Meeting Alex was a real turning point in my rehabilitation after the amputation of my left arm and shoulder. Following my surgery I experienced problems with Lymphedema. The treatments I received from Alex were exceptional and completely suited to my needs. A genuine desire to find solutions with her extensive knowledge, experience and wonderful sense of humour, combine to make a superb Therapist who I would not hesitate to recommend whole heartedly.

I've seen a number of therapists over the last 10+ years for MLD but Alex is by far the best.Not only does her MLD achieve incredible results (such that took months in the past) she is a real pleasure in clinic.Alex ensures that she is always up to date with the latest developments around lymphodema care, meaning that she is able to sugggest/try varying techniques as well as alternatives such as reflexology MLD (which by the way is great!)Alex not only provides great treatments, but is always on hand with advice about exercise, skincare and compression garments, making it so much easier for me to practice self care at home between sessions.I honestly cannot recommend Alex highly enough!

Alex has given me absolutely excellent care after my recent Lipoedema surgery - she is so kind, knowledgeable, hard working and thoughtful, and has helped me massively physically and emotionally. She has a great range of techniques and has individualised my treatment, being careful not to overload my system when I am in a fragile state. I always walk out feeling so much better than when I walked in, much more relaxed and pain-free. I recommend Alex 110%! So glad I found her - she has got my healing moving again :) I cannot praise her enough.

I was recommended to see Alex having been diagnosed with CRPS and also suffering with quite bad oedema in my affected lower leg. I was quite unsure how an Occupational Therapist could help me but decided to give it a try. Alex has been amazing, she really cares for her patients and she was able to help me in so many different ways. The treatment she does for oedema gave me respite for a few days but more importantly enabled me to get a better nights sleep. On top of this, Alex recommend other aids that improved my life hugely. Alex has lots of different connections in the medical world and she can always find different ways to treat her patients. I would highly recommend Alex to anyone. I will always be so grateful for what she has done for me.

Well what can I say about Alex other than that she is fabulous! After having breast cancer and then developing lymphadema I initially sort help from Alex before my first year mammogram after surgery as the breast was uncomfortable. Even after the first treatment the breast felt softer and less swollen. I’ve had regular treatments with Alex, not only manual lymphatic drainage but she also introduced me to the delights of reflexology drainage too. For a person who doesn’t like their feet being touched this is quite amazing and a reflection on how good Alex is. Her treatments are gentle and relaxing and I have left every appointment feeling great. Alex immediately puts you at ease and is always willing to answer any questions even if unrelated to the treatment. She has been an absolute rock for me. She has had to put up with my many emotional outbursts, my constant worrying and my non stop talking. But through it all she has been kind, helpful and above all reassuring. I’m in a far better place now thanks to Alex not only with the lymphadema but also my overall well being, mentally and physically. I would highly recommend her.

I visited Alex for MLD after having surgery on my legs as I suffer from lipoedema. Alex instantly made me feel so relaxed and at ease, she is extremely knowledgeable about this condition and was very honest with me in regards to how many sessions I needed, I thought it was going to be far more than what was required. Each session was so relaxing and not painful at all (I had read some horror stories online of MLD being painful after surgery). Alex was always at the end of the phone / email if I ever needed her for further advice/support. Would highly recommend Alex and her services.
