I just want to say a massive thank you for all the work and ideas that Richard has put into our little space. From start to finish Richard’s communication was fantastic, he listened to our ideas but also brought his own. The three designs that Richard worked up for us were fantastic and have helped us to build our own little haven which he have sat in and smiled all Spring, Summer and Autumn! We look forward to working with Richard to keep the garden perfect and would heartily recommend to anybody!I should also say that Ian and his team (the landscapers that Richard recommended) were fantastic and worked quickly and efficiently to get the garden to together.Thank you!!!

We could not be happier with the work of Richard and his team at RW Gardens. He transformed our uninspiring small garden into a beautiful retreat in just a few short weeks.Throughout the design stage Richard understood what we were looking for. Richard completely redesigned my suburban garden from being a boring old lawn edged by trees and shrubs to one with paths, a formal circular pond, a wildlife pond, a summerhouse and a greenhouse. He designed the landscaping and planting, including a wide variety of trees, shrubs and perennials. He engaged me, my brother and my mum at each stage and once the hard landscaping was done, he procured the plants and did all the planting. Very nice to work with and very good value. Richard transformed our small garden in the Golden Triangle, turning a derelict deck into a lawn, patio and raised beds including beautiful planting. He is a true professional and was kind and communicative throughout the process. We couldn't be happier with the result and have barely left the garden since!

Our remit was to design and recommend a planting scheme for our recently landscaped back garden in Thorpe St Andrew. We chose Richard because we liked his website and on meeting him felt he had a calm sympatric approach with an understanding of the plants, especially colours, scent and year round interest.On a positive note, we felt Richard was aware of making the most of his time and while we were happy to talk he didn't let it impact progress.We are looking forward to seeing the shrubs and perennials mature.We would have no hesitation in recommending Richard.

We could not have been more pleased with the service we received. Richard really knows his stuff. He really listened to what we wanted. He supplied all the plants for us and helped plant them. We now can’t wait for Spring to come. We had tried a few people before hand but when reviewed Richards web site we had a feeling he was was what we needed and he absolutely was. Everything is as we planned and hoped but much better then I had imagined. We employed Richard last year to provide and implement a design for our front and rear gardens. The gardens aren’t large - and aa well as making the most of the space available, one of our requirements was that they should be relatively low maintenance going forward.From the initial meeting Richard provided outstanding service. He listened carefully to what we needed and made really helpful suggestions as to what would work well with the location.The 3D designs he provided were very realistic and made our decisions easy; he was also very responsive in making changes etc.The works themselves were hassle free and very well executed. At one point Richard wasn’t happy with the quality of the paving and contacted me straight away to discuss alternatives (along with a very clear indication of any cost implications).We’re very happy with the outcome. We now have lovely gardens, with great variety of type and colour and they’re maturing nicely (and as envisaged in the design models!)Thank you!!
