After taking a break from rugby for 4 years and toying with the idea of playing again, I couldn't make up my mind about joining my old club or to join a new one.It was only when out of the blue I overheard a conversation with one of my work old colleagues talking about rugby and playing for St Francis RFC.I decided to give it a go as there was an away game against Crawley, till this day this was the best decision I have ever made, not only did I get back into a sport I missed, but also made life-long friendships between a cracking bunch of players of all ages!If you read this and in the same position I was in and want to get back into Rugby look no further - St Francis RFC is the club for you.

Great club with a friendly bunch of people who are all passionate about training. Definitely recommend for both newbies and people with experience. My only recommendation for the club is more of a focus on individual strength and conditioning plans.

I joined the Ladies Club in 2016 when I was new to the area and the club couldn't have been more welcoming if they tried. There are regular socials, both mixed with the men and just ladies, this allowed me to make great friends. I had never played rugby before, which wasn't a problem, the club accepts all levels.

My father played for the club, so after all the wonderful stories I've heard from him and his team mates it was an easy decision to join. It hasn't changed, a great bunch of people who made me feel very welcome! I will never change!

Great club, very friendly & welcoming providing rugby & fitness for everyone who chases the egg shaped ball & loves a bevvy or 2!

Joined this club when I was new to the area in 2011 and haven't looked back. Great group of guys and an opportunity to play rugby no matter what your ability! If you are new to it give it a go - if you want to get back into then join in.

Been involved with this Club for over 30 Years, great people & life long friends - centrally located with easy transport links. Come & join us , we have place for everyone .

Really good club atmosphere. Always made to feel welcome and the lads are a great bunch. Tour is always awesome and always an opportunity to play regardless of ability.
