Brilliant and thought-provoking art course. Well worth the money. Jeannie is an excellent tutor who tailors her course to her students, is patient and tirelessly enthusiastic about her subject.

Had a 2hr lesson this afternoon,100% a must do for anybody on holiday here! Never painted before and REALLY enjoyed it, probably the best experience of my holiday so far. Jeannie is a great teacher, patient and attentive. Thank you.

My 10 year old has just completed Jeanni’s full art course. He is neurodivergent so sometimes things don’t go how a normal lesson might. Throughout the course, Jeanni displayed remarkable adaptability, resourcefulness, and patience. She consistently understood his needs, quickly adjusted her approach, and capitalising on his strengths, providing him with the necessary reassurance. After each lesson, he would emerge both exhausted and exhilarated, eagerly showcasing his artwork to anyone who would look. Pictures of what he made on 2 of the lessons.

What a wonderful experience. Arrived as a bunch lacking in confidence that we could produce nothing more than a stick man drawing, to producing some lovely paintings. Jeanine is an excellent instructor, who is patient, informative, skilful, engaging and makes things good fun. I would fully recommend this to anyone looking for something fun and rewarding.

I’ve just finished my third session “Paint” session with lovely Jeannie and, after having spent a lifetime (sixty-six years) envying artists and secretly longing to join them, I can say with confidence that not only can I sketch and paint but I’m an artist and I love it.This is all down to Jeannie. Enjoyed a mind opening painting experience on the beach, learning not only new techniques and methods, we learnt some of the science and history behind art. Jeannie has a real gift. She believes that anyone can draw and paint. After some time with her you will think so too. I have had some lessons with her in Mawgan Porth and also on line. I am hooked. From the first lesson I was producing work I wouldn't have believed possible. There is no pressure. The lessons are relaxed fun. I have found it really exciting to try something different and new. A great thing to try if you are on holiday in the area.

I take my hat off to Jeanni. She is the consummate professional. I sought a big new interest for my retirement, and boy, did she deliver. She’s a great teacher, and if there’s any one quality I had to single out I think it would be her ability to get you BELIEVING. Believing that you have the talent, believing that you can do so much more than you ever thought possible. Whether it is just for the love of it or you want to sell your work – and I have raised over a thousand pounds for charity in this way, with my art – Jeanni will literally show you the way. I have completed Jeanni's art course on sketching, painting and perspective. I did two sessions over zoom and the painting lesson on the beach at Mawgan Porth with Jeanni.I really thought that I could not a) draw or b)paint, but now after the course I have sold two paintings through Jeanni's gallery and so I must be able to call myself a professional artist :-)Jeanni is really approachable and her unqiue way of teaching helps you to understand what's been holding you back and how to correct your mistakes. She gives you the confidence to go with your gut, put pencil/paint to paper and to have fun with art, not judging yourself. A painting lesson on the beach with my daughter (age 12) was huge fun and we both produced paintings way beyond what we imagined we were capable of.Jeanni also has a stock of art supplies and high quality acrylic paints in her gallery as well as paintings by herself and her students, so if you're inspired by the amazing landscapes and sunsets of North Cornwall you can grab some goodies and have fun creating at your leisure.I'm so grateful to Jeanni for unlocking my inner artist and giving me the skills and confidence to paint. there's no looking back now :-)
