The site is fine, plenty of space and OK layout.Reason for 1*, is you can ONLY pay by phone in an area with (dependent upon mobile provider) a almost no phone data signal area.Also, paths down to beach are VERY steep, so if you have mobility issues, you'll have a very hard time getting to the beach.Stunning views of Hayle and St Ives bays.

But fear not, dear folks, for our beloved Cornwall seems to have embraced the trend of hosting its very own carnival of scammy, cowboy-themed car parks. How quaint!Oh, how utterly delightful it must be to receive a charmingly menacing letter demanding the modest sum of £170, only to be offered the chance to settle for the bargain price of £100! Clearly, these modern-day Robin Hoods have perfected the art of extracting hard-earned cash from unsuspecting victims. I must applaud their innovative approach—forget automatic number plate readers like in sophisticated places like London, these car park wizards are all about manual calculations and a touch of future-predicting mysticism. Move over, Marty McFly!And let's not forget the impeccable accreditation and membership programs run by none other than the portly, well-fed feline ex-bosses. After all, who needs impartiality and fairness when you can have connections and a cozy relationship with those who hold the gavel? I must admit, the allure of appealing to these benevolent overlords sounds positively thrilling—assuming, of course, that one has a strong penchant for masochism and a stockpile of stress balls.But ah, dear readers, before we get too carried away, let us not miss the larger picture. 6 hours £4 for access to stunning beach. Short walk of 10 mins to the beach. Plenty of space when it's not the height of summer.

£3 for 3 hours, not too bad I guess! Right next to the beaches, wheelchair accessible

Easy access via wheelchair from this car park to Hayle Beach, albeit via fairly steep paths with a concrete surface. Access stops at the sand but you can get a chair down far enough to feel you are on the beach.

Hayle beach is absolutely stunning, I recalled the car park from a previous visit, which is ideally located along the coastal path. The sand dunes are amazing, by far the best beach for tranquility, sunbathing, swimming in Cornwall - it's definitely a hidden gem and top of my list. There are a number of caravan sites so I'd recommend staying there which provide easy access to the beach.
