I waited less than 5 mins to be spoken to by a wonderfully helpful lady, whose name eludes me - she had great Geordie accent! She was helpful, and patient in dealing with 3 separate enquiries for me. Thank you very much for your advice.

I also rang an 0843 number that came up as the highest entry on a Google search as Land Registry's contact number, and was charged £14 for two phonecalls! Land Registry say it is a scam and nothing to do with them. Has anyone else been affected by this?
