I needed a cable made to a specific set of requirements. Ewan at Grimson Robotics provided excellent customer service, responding quickly to emails, and manufactured the cable to the required standard. The cable was delivered the very next and works perfectly (actually a little better than expected). The cost was not extortionate and what I would consider good value considering my needs.All in all a very pleasant experience from start to finish.

Ewan at Gimson Robotics Ltd was extremely helpful with my order for a linear actuator and controller for a cellar hatch. The order was checked and corrected before processing and then the motor was tested (video instructions were sent) before dispatch. Excellent service all round; recommended.

My first order with Gimson , had bought some heavy duty actuators online but couldn't find decent brackets that would fit anywhere, until I found Gimson. They arrived promptly, and although not cheap, the quality is excellent and they were well packaged. Will probably need a controller for my project, and will definitely be coming back to these guys!

I needed some high torque 12v motors for some camper jacks. Ewan was extremely knowlegeable on the whole field, very responsive and turned my order round with some customisations and parts swaps next working day. Definitely recommended and will buy from him again in future

I needed a pair of linear actuators for a home-built vehicle project and found Gimson Robotics online. Ewan (Gimson) was exceptionally prompt in responding to my initial queries and we exchanged numerous emails over several weeks until I was sure he could supply what I wanted, and Ewan was totally satisfied that what I wanted was actually what I needed! The equipment arrived (2 x actuators & control box) all well packaged and the wiring properly sorted, neat shrink wrapping and labelling for ease of connection. Once installed I had some minor hiccups - easily resolved by more prompt advice from Ewan and I now have a neatly lifting roof on my camper. I was very impressed by Ewan's speedy replies, willngness to 'take my hand' and explain some of the technical side of things and I would not only use him again but would throughly recommend his services to anyone needing bespoke solutions delivered 'locally'. Ebay equivalents from China may look tempting but although I may have spent little bit more, I've had a wealth of advice freely offered and a guarantee that should anything ever go wrong there's a reputable family business standing behind the product with whom I can easily find a solution.
