Visited this brilliant shop with the intention of either replacing my existing record turntable or just changing the cartridge on my ageing Revolver player. Basically I needed some good advice and be pointed in the right direction. Well the owners were both exceptionally helpful and set up the listening room so I could compare two new turntables against my Revolver table fitted with a different cartridge. The advice I was given was excellent and at no time did I feel pressured to make a purchase. I highly recommend using this hifi shop especially if like me it’s been a while since you’ve bought hifi equipment and need some sensible advice. I bought a new cartridge by the way which breathed new life into the revolver. No doubt I’ll be back at some point to buy something else.

Fantastic service having been made most welcome. 'Sound' :-) advice from Steve and fantastic communications and coffee from Deborah. Honest, sensible points made with nothing being too much trouble (even after numerous changes of equipment). Ended up with something much better than we had imagined with amazing sound. I have no reservations whatsoever in thoroughly recommending Listen Audio for anyone wishing to invest in a (great range) of quality hi-fi. Thanks both for a lovely experience.

It's like this: any hifi shop that not only gives you an ideal listening room, a nice coffee and...a labrador to keep you company and assess Robert Fripp as only dogs can do, gets my vote. Outfits like this deserve to succeed. Why? Well, passion, customer service, insight and unbiased recommendations - plus a competitive price. What's not to like? So if you need some good quality HiFi, get off your PC and get over to Shrewsbury in person, you won't regret it. Excellent.

I have recently purchased a new amp, a new set of speakers, and a new cartridge from Listen Audio and can’t praise them enough. The whole experience has been fantastic. Steve and Deborah are both extremely friendly and welcoming, and have a real focus on providing an excellent customer experience. Steve provided me some great advice when I popped in, and even set up an unplanned demo for me. Steve was really knowledgeable and really helpful. When I had decided on what I wanted to do in terms of my upgrades, I planned another visit and demo – nothing was too much trouble for them and they were really accommodating, and the demo facilities are great. Aswell as providing a really pleasurable and friendly experience, Steve was able to offer me a great deal in terms of price. Listen Audio will be my chosen Hi-Fi supplier for the future, although not my nearest, their excellent service and pricing make the longer journey worthwhile. Thoroughly recommended.

We visited the Listen Audio shop couple of times before purchasing a pair of speakers and stands together with a phono stage to connect a Dual turntable to a Denon amp. Steve and Deb were patient, friendly and extremely knowledgeable hosts, providing demonstrations of equipment suitable for our budget. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this fabulous store and will be purchasing more equipment from here as and when the need arises.

Superb service from start to finish from Steve and his wife. Both are extremely knowledgeable and offer no pressure whatsoever to make a purchase. After buying my items, Steve even used a trolley to pull them all the way to my car down a steep hill. Would definitely recommend for all audio needs.

Steve was a delight to deal with from the first email to picking the goods up in store. Very fast service, great communications. He also has a great knack of knowing how much help a customer requires. Highly recommended.

What s fantastic experience. Following a quick phone call explaining my needs, later that day I was sat in the shop's listening room where Stuart had already set up a system to suit my budget. 3 hours later, after multiple amp and speaker combo changes (and tea and biscuits), Stuarts faultless service and excellent knowledge helped me get the best set up for my money in a relaxed and friendly environment with no pressure whatsoever to buy. I left with a full Rega set up and a new appreciation of what music can sound like with the right equipment. My vinyl and cd collections have never given me do much enjoyment. Customer service was above and beyond. Steve loaded up the boxes on the trolley and Stuart delivered everything to my car a ten minute walk away. Totally worth the hours drive and definitely not the last visit. Thank you so much!

Lovely and understanding people who try their best to make sure that you are happy with your purchases. Even suggested I bring my existing audio setup in to the store so I can A/B test with my current headphones and the ones I was looking to buy. I couldn't recommend them more :)
