We had the uplighting for our wedding reception and it made it very unique and gave that extra special touch. Thank you to Colin for being very helpful and providing a great service throughout. We had a lot of compliments about how great the marquee looked with the lighting. Would definitely recommend!

We got in touch with Colin to provide some uplighters for our wedding in the woods and old house to add some ambiance to outside the marquee.Colin was fantastic to work with, replied quickly with all the information we needed to book and pay.The day before the wedding Colin came bright and early to set up and make sure everyone worked and gave clear instructions on how to change colours etcThe result was fantastic and so many people commented that it made the whole venue both special and unique.We will 100% use again when the needs arise.Fantastic all around

Colin provided a mixture of indoor and outdoor lighting for our barn wedding in August 2023. From the outset Colin was amazing, even coming to meet us at our venue before providing a quote so he could understand what we wanted and to be able to give his ideas on what would best suit the venue. He provided festoon lighting that covered an outside area as well as lighting along fences and treallace lighting within the barn. He also worked so well in tandem with our other suppliers and even came back the day of the wedding to fix some lights that had come down in the wind. We'd recommend Colin to anyone, he won't let you down and was on hand at all points to answer any queries!

Nothing but positive feedback to give Blackthorn events. We used them for our Halloween party at our house this weekend and all the items where fantastic. The people that delivered and set up the items especially the graveyard setting that we had where brilliant, they made sure everything was perfect before they left. We will be using them again for next year's party. Could not recommend them enough whether for a big event or just a party at your home. Also very speedy response to emails and any queries.
