Carnoustie Golf Hotel & Spa

Fantastic hotel, the restaurant is excellent for people who require gluten free diet meals. At breakfast ask for gluten free toast and they also have GF sausages. Staff are great. Pool and gym are all good, sauna also good. Jacuzzi is undergoing work but not a deal breaker. The hotel Offers good winter / off season deals.

I got married here on the 25.11.23 and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Morag was a god send, kept me and my partner in check and made sure that the day went smooth.The room was 10/10. Great views, clean, Comfortable, big, and ice!The staff where so nice and friendly.The food was to die for. Loved the breakfast and the main meal options where great. Had a few vegetarians options so that's a big plus.Going back for a holiday as soon as.Would 100% recommend.

Absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The Staff are the life blood of this hotel and they are just the most welcoming and professional team you could ever wish for. Every single request and question was dealt with in the most efficient and friendly manner possible. We had our doubts coming here out of season for a short break but have been so pleasantly surprised by the high standards and excellent level of customer care displayed by each and every member of the staff team.The food in the restaurant was esquisite and the service was flawless.Rooms are comfortable and nicely furnished with plenty of facilities on offer.Even the leisure facilities, which can be a bit of a lottery in Scottish towns, were well appointed, well managed and a very relaxing experience.We will be back for more..... hopefully when the sun is shining and the weather is less forbidding. It was December after all.Sincere thanks to the entire team.10 / 10 a brilliant stay.

Room was stunning,huge bed overlooking the golf course,food was delicious and staff were really friendly ,2min walk to the beach and sea

Clean and pleasant hotel. Service was friendly and efficient. The bed gave us a good night's sleep. The facilities are nothing fancy, but all we needed. We had fantastic views over the first tee and 18th green of the championship course. There is a good choice of hot and cold breakfast items. The restaurant is informal and the food was good. There is generous free parking. We thought it very good value for money.

We had a lovely time here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Meals were delicious. Would definitely recommend it.

We had such a lovely time. Our room was bright and very comfortable and had lots of space. The only downside was that the bed was rather small for the size of the room. Although it was very comfortable. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, from housekeeping staff to bar and dining staff. It was a very well run hotel.

Overall had a lovely 2 day break. Dinner here was really tasty and great value. We were given a room with disabled shower room which was quite strange as we do not require disabled facilities. The room itself was nice but with a view over the entrance and a flat roof. We were told the heating and hot water were not working on the first but we were compensated for that and to be honest didn't really worry us too much as the room was warm enough and just had a cold wash in the morning and hot water was back on by the afternoon.

Stayed here with my girlfriend and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff were fantastic and catered to our every need. Staff also extremely patient (as they would have to be putting up with middle aged golfers) and continuously had a smile on their face. The hotel is situated near the coast, and has amazing views, and is close enough to the station for days out to Dundee, Arbroath, and Broughty Ferry. Dog and child friendly also.

5 stars are not enough. There for a wedding. Beautiful venue. Wonderful food and the table service was excellent. As was breakfast . Room with balcony overlooking the golf course was amazing.
