Excellent music school. The teachers are great musicians, friendly, patient, and willing to to adapt to each person's learning needs and style no matter what age you are. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic music school! I had singing lessons with Katy for 2 years and thoroughly enjoyed them. We went into lockdown during this period and the on-line lessons continued to be great fun, helpful and an amazing learning experience. Katy is extremely professional, friendly, knowledgeable and I loved my lessons with her. Work commitments meant that I had to end my lessons but I would not hesitate to return. The experience has given me a lot to draw on and I have loads of useful exercises and notes to keep and use by myself. I also really enjoyed participating in band practice, giving me the opportunity to sing with other musicians, and singing at the summer concert. Planet Drum is a very welcoming school and my experience was overwhelmingly positive. I highly recommend it!

Planet Drum is a fantastic place to learn and rehearse. The teachers and staff are incredibly friendly and the rooms are equipped with excellent kits.It's reasonably priced and you know you're in good hands with the drum tutors – they are all great drummers and teachers.At the time of writing, I've been going for lessons and practice sessions at Planet Drum for around a year and I love it.

Best music school in Islington!Our son took two years of drums lessons with Sebastien at Planet Drums. He became so passionate about it that he set up a rock band in his primary school. Great teachers!

Wonderful people! I've been having singing lessons with Katy for 6 months, but also have had an electric guitar taster with Vlad and have met several of the other teachers. They are all brilliant, warm and genuine people, not to mention excellent teachers and very talented musicians.The culture of the school is also great, it's truly welcoming and inclusive, and they do a music festival with the students in the summer and winter (and other occasional events throughout the year). You get to have a few practice and jam sessions per month included together with your lessons, too!I'm gutted to be moving away from this part of London for the time being, but as soon I return to the area I'll be back for more.Don't hesitate to book a taster with them. They rock!!

I've been a student at PD for 1.5 years and I find the standard of teaching to be very high. The school also runs a series of useful workshops alongside regular lessons - I would recommend this school to anyone wanting to learn to play the drums in London!

The Planet Drum is a wonderfully warm, friendly and inclusive environment to start learn music. The lessons are tailored for the student's individual needs and musical interests and students are able to progress at their own speed. The teaching rooms are very well equipped with high quality musical instruments and have a great vibe. Highly recommended for beginners of all ages.

I have been taking lessons at the Planet Drum for four years, and having worked with all their teachers I can say that they are all top class. Their structured and fun approach has really worked for me and thanks to them I am now an infinitely better drummer than I ever was. Highly recommended!

The Planet Drum school has very friendly, patient and experienced teachers. There are even practice rooms where I can bash the kit as loud as I want! The Crypt is a great place to learn playing the drums and to learn playing with bands.

As complete beginner in music I have found Planet Drum to be a great place to learn from the ground up. The facilities are great and the professionalism and enthusiasm of the teachers is constantly evident. I have one to one lessons but also attend the group sessions and these leave me feeling that I really am part of the music school. Great atmosphere!
