Middown House Bed & Breakfast

Stayed in June 2015, did not see much of Tim as he is a working farmer, Jane looked after us and you could not wish for a better host. We are hopefully now to book this for our daughters wedding night.

What a treasure of a place Mid down House is with its magnificent views. Me and two friends stayed here for 1 night over the august bank holiday weekend and we had such a wonderful time we just didn't want to leave. The rooms are big and very clean plus you have free wifi. As this is a farm your breakfast is very fresh and tasty. If truth be told we could not find any faults with Middown house apart from the pot holes in the rd. Jane and her husband are very nice people and I will definitely stay at Middown House again the next time I'm in Brighton.

Spent my Honeymoon there in 2014. Such a lovely place to stay. Jane really looked after us. Room was comfortable with a nice view. Breakfast was amazing and often joined by the kind and friendly dogs.

Simply put, if there was a option to give 6 stars I would of given 6. Stunning location, picturesque views, excellent hosts, very clean and well maintained rooms with private toilet/shower and lastly the breakfast was made with good quality ingredients. They could charge double and I’d still go back and that’s coming from a couple that regularly stay in fancy London hotels! Oh and it’s only 5-10mins from town by car.
