P&O Dover Ferries

Absolute chaos on boarding and even worse when leaving the ferry. No hot food available, there used to be a proper restaurant so we always had an English breakfast when travelling at the morning, but it's not possible any more - only some rubbish breakfast box with scrambled eggs" made of powdered eggs. Absolutely disgusting and very disappointing.The shop offered only alcohol

The passage itself is short & one of my favorites. Ferries are maintained well, and the service at the Lounge is superb. What reduces the score is that the process for getting on & off the boat for foot passengers is absolutely terrible. People carry their luggage on & off the transfer busses that are overcrowded, then to the ferry & getting off the ferries is slow & disorganized. I did two of those & every time it looked it was as if it was the first time they encountered foot travelers. I cannot imagine disabled or older people going through this. They need to improve process (which is easy) or stop taking foot travers

Awful.Food was overpriced, served in sweaty boxes via self service restaurants and revolting.Both ferries travelled on were not clean.Toilets were broken.No hot water in toilets for hand washing.Absolute chaos when trying to get back to the vehicles as the stairwell doors weren’t opened in a timely manner. The ships were half empty, I hate to think what it must be like during peak season.Have travelled many times with P&O in the past but never again.

Crossing was rough going off to Calais but that's not their fault so I'm not going to downgrade for it. Check-in was lengthy but we're on a coach so that's fair enough, we got on and the ferry was nice enough, the Costa onboard was a blessing for an 8am caffeine boost, but there was one thing. The range of food. I didn't expect full blown catering but the food on offer was burgers, fish & chips etc. Absolutely nothing if you have dietary needs, so bring food. It's also outrageously expensive, my coffee I said earlier cost only a bit more than in shop but a double cheeseburger, chips and a pepsi max (in cardboard, literally like the to go section) was £13.29!!!

I have used Dover port to cross the Channel on many occasionsNever had any issues found the staff polite and friendlyAlso always happy to help

Loved watching the boats leave the dock and watch the lorries all queue up , quite fascinating on on nice summer evening

The service on board in January was appalling! There was not many people, but the evening staff on that night were having a discussion while serving the customers. They could not be bothered from the reception to the bar, sadly I realised that there was a lack of commitments to P&O!

It's OK, nice customer service

It was such a beautiful experience. On the ferries you will find everything you want from shops to food and kids area. It is a beautiful experience for little ones and for grown ups. I think P&O they got the biggest ferries. Definitely recommend.

Just a great trip with our dog!Pets lounge was clean, welcoming and stocked with hot and fizzy drinks.The whole family had a relaxing trip.We would choose your company again!Thank you!
