Had the Gluten Free cod and chips - the gluten free options are cooked in separate fryers so I was reassured as a coeliac that this was suitable. Highly recommend!!

We decided to eat in the restaurant which is located upstairs.There is soft drinks wines and ale and lager available.There is a Children's menu available too.You have plenty to choose from on the menu besides just fish and chips.The cod you can have large or normal.The large cod is huge and the batter is very light.Curry sauce and gravy available too.The portion of large cod and chips was huge. The standard portion was also plentiful the old man went for the deal with peas and like me could not eat it all.That said it was great value for money and hot and tasty.If you are lucky enough to get a window seat you will get a great view over Brixham harbour. 4 tables offering a great view.Takeaway is also available from the downstairs fish and chip shop.An excellent place to visit for your fish and chips and a very generous portion.The quality and taste are spot on and consistently good.

Brixham Fish Restaurant & Takeaway
Really tasty food - crispy batter on the cod and haddock, chips cooked to perfection with tasty pickled onions and gherkin. Great menu with lots to choose from at very reasonable prices, we sat in a nice clean upstairs restaurant in a booth overlooking the harbour. Service was excellent, very friendly and helpful staff.

If you have not been, please visit this place, we had some great food with a view of the harbour from upstairs.Staff team were very friendly and informative thank you a super visit, been to brixham for years and this has the best fish, plaice for me, that good we went back again before we went home.Great potions and considering your harbour side great value

Very disappointed after reading a lot of good reviews decided to try this place . Only ordered chips but they were of poor quality not crispy on the outside and under cooked in the middle not light and fluffy as they should be. Could not manage to eat them as they were so went back in to order some curry sauce in the hope it would make things edible but the sauce was poor as well, very weak and lacking and real flavour. On the plus side, price prices were reasonable and you got a big portion (only a plus if you like the product).

I treat myself to Cod n Chips here when I'm down this way working. It's a very nice place to sit outside on the pavement and watch the harbour and busy goings on as people meander and hurry past. Relaxing. Food what's the food like?. Well I don't think there is middle ground with fish n chips, it's either right or it's not. Not hard to get it right to be fare but very easy to get it wrong. Brixham fish restaurant consistently gets it right for me. Always good

You would expect all fish and chips in Brixham to be top quality. I can tell you that this one certainly did not disappoint. Delicious, delicious, delicious. Limited spaces to sit down, so better to take away. If you sit down you can enjoy some nice views to the west side of Brixham.

Really loved the cod, chips and mushy peas. My wife and boys can be a bit fussy but they ate most of it. The service was really good and it was quiet so nothing I could fault with those but I had to highlight how good the food was. Excellent value for money at £38 plus tip for a quality meal for 4. Dog friendly too with free snacks for your pooch too. Highly recommend this place

It's obvious the locals eat here. Everyone was in, fed and out very quickly. The fish was good, though the batter could have been crispier. I had cod with a lovely fresh salad. The mushy peas and chips special which my wife had was okay, but a bit bland. The meal and drinks cost was 80% of usual charges, so that was very good value.
