Amazing experience! Delicious food and a great vegan range. We had a lovely vegan platter and were advised to have the chickpea dish as well. The chickpeas were amazing, nice and spicy. Very friendly staff and will definitely come back again :)

“Amazing Experience!” My wife and I had both never tried the cuisine before and after a very warm welcome from the lovely lady who served us, I explained I was a vegetarian and my wife was not. We asked for her recommended dishes from the refreshingly uncomplicated menu and we were rewarded with beautifully cooked and well presented delicious food. I wanted to know how best to eat the food so I was gratefully educated in how it was eaten traditionally. We were very accommodated and even helped entertain our baby who was restless so we could both eat our meal. I’m really glad we stumbled across Hiwot Cuisine as it was a real joy to discover and experience a different cuisine and learn a little of their culture too. I recommend you try Hiwot’s amazing traditional coffee! Top marks for customer service and making us feel so comfortable and welcome. Very reasonable prices and we both left very full and satisfied An experience like no other, we will be back!

Very delicious meal, I was delighted . Very intentional and warm people. The service was great. I arrived when they were closed because I got into town late and Mary was kind enough to make something for me and it was tasty. That shows hospitality. I highly recommend trying this place. I would definitely be returning to try more options.

Visited this restaurant with my Grandad who is vegan, both of us were extremely satisfied with our food, neither of us had tried this cuisine before and we were both impressed. The lady who served us was warm, welcoming and very attentive! Will definitely be returning for more delicious food.

Amazing food from a country I have not tried a lot of food from, the staff were super friendly and prepared a special taster platter for me and my vegan partner. Really recommend to come and try something new!

We'd been looking to visit this place for a while since it opened and finally got around to going!Me and my boyfriend had a lovely time, the food was delicious and the staff member was so lovely and friendly! Prices are great and it's worth every penny.Will definitely be recommending to friends to try this little gem :)
