One day blacksmithing course - working with tutor Gregg was excellent and good fun, all of us on the course enjoyed learning some of the blacksmithing basics and ended up with a usuble product at the end of the day. Highly recommended.

Had a full experience day. In short, can’t be happier to become fully immersed into a trip back to Crecy as a longbow archer. By shooting at various targets of different ranges, alongside battle background stories introduced stage by stage, even people who had no knowledge nor interest in history would acquire a lot from this day. It is a decent workshop in field to understand some social history(yes, way more than purely military perspective) back in the Middle Ages through an iconic character then. And surprisingly, it is easier than I thought to pick up archery at the entry level. I can clearly see my precision and accuracy improved into the afternoon after a morning’s practice. What a memorable day! Don’t hesitate to try it.

A 1 day Blacksmith Experience, had a super good time making a Bushcraft Tripod/Pot Hanger for the ole outdoor cooking. Really pleased with the results and finished, Adam was very friendly and switched on with contacting me ASAP and Greg the Blacksmith was very patient giving good hints and tips to help me. Absolutely Spot on All Round

Great experience! Had lots of fun and the instructor was very knowledgeable. Got to shoot lots of targets, good variety and change for practice. Highly recommend for everyone :)

Booked the 2 hour Longbow Archery Taster through a Virgin Experience Days voucher and we absolutely LOVED it! Greg and Adam were amazing hosts. We were a little late to the session but they made sure we were caught up and didn't miss out even though that was clearly an inconvenience. They were funny and helpful and gave some great tips and tricks to improve our archery. The session was really varied too. Would definitely recommend as a gift or day out.

I got my husband an 1346 Experience Day and it was so much fun!! From the Tabards to the tasty food and of course learning how to use a medieval long bow the day was jam packed with history and excitement. My husband says it’s the best birthday present he’s ever gotten and I had so much fun as a spectator just taking photos and hanging out. Would 100% recommend and do dress up because it’s so much more fun that way!

Hubby booked the knife forging for our anniversary and it was fun! The instructor was very attentive and he explained things well. My arm & wrist ached after but I am very happy with the experience.The location is in a farm, the GPS will show you a private road. Drive pass that, there is another entrance (see the gate picture). If you have a booking & the gate is closed, just open it & go in (close it back). The building you are looking for is that black barn with a big green machine (spreader) in front.

A brilliant birthday present. As a regular' archer (last time was about 55 years ago) it was truly a GREAT experience. To be able to use traditional longbows as opposed to the modern equipment made everything new again. I learned more in the 2hrs Longbow Master Class than I ever did back in the late 1968s.The bows have been made by their own craftsman as have the arrows. The business is a true reflection of a team that are really keen about keeping the skills and techniques alive.In the modern day Health and Safety is always pushed. They do it so well - not as a 'bolt on' but integrated throughout the experience. Simple and very effective (might not have been for the moles and goffers when I missed the target).If you are looking for a birthday present that is different I couldn't suggest anything better. They cater for all ages from the wrinklies' through to the young.They also cater for those who are wheelchair users according to the gallery on the website.My son also booked for the same experience which made it a brilliant occasion - thank you

Fantastic Experience. Highly recommended. Took a group of 8, 5 adults and three 9 yr olds, on this experience today. Adam and Charlie were fantastic. The day started at 10am and finished at 3pm. We were taught how to handle and shoot longbows and had a variety of different targets and games to play throughout the day. Lunch was provided. For most people, the history lesson given all the way round would be great, for me not so much, but take nothing away from Adam, his delivery of the experience was first class. Many thanks!
