The Color Company - Curzon Street

I had a doctors appointment today and the documents I filled out, got rained on and I needed to redo them. In a mad rush, I called The Colour Company on the number on google maps and explained to the call operator that I need to print 4 x A4 pages. He sent me to the Green Park branch and when I asked him what the cost will be, he replied very minimal, as it’s only plain A4 in black & white, around 35p to 50p.I then traveled 20mins to the Green Park branch and upon arrival, while the only one in the shop, the person behind the counter didn’t even look up or acknowledge me. After a few seconds I said “Good morning” and finally got acknowledge, not in the friendliest of tones…I then explained my predicament and got informed it’s £15.00 min charge. I explained to the person helping me that I’m in a bit of a pickle and that the call centre iI called, didnt mention anything about a min order, he quickly asked, “which bumber did you call, it wasnt here”, so i said the number on google maps, guessing its the head office.I asked him if there is anything he can do to help, but simply kept to his statement and pointing to the sign saying “£15.00 min charge”.Now I do understand what “min charge” mean, but sometimes a bit of compassion for your fellow human being could go a long way and it would’ve meant the world for a bit of help and understanding.Definitely won’t be using or recommending this shop/company for anything in the near future.——*MY REPLY TO COMMENT FROM THE COLOUR COMPANY*Seeing as I cannot reply to the comment below from the store manager, I have add to original post here.There is no benefit to me to make false claims. My comment above is accurate and I have informed you of everything above when you finally acknowledged me. Maybe some parts of the conversation got lost as you were only focusing on the min spent.The flip side of this is that IF you showed any willingness to help, or even listen, I would have post a very very positive review here stating how you helped me out in time of need, but this clearly didn’t happen.

While on Holiday needed a place to print, sign, and scan some documents. Since I was staying at an apartment instead of a hotel I couldn't just ask the front desk. Found this place nearby and ended up super happy. The staff was really friendly, we chatted about the lighter side of the news while they got me sorted. The place is a full on print service, but it was nice that they handle small jobs as well. In and out within minutes and back to my vacation.

They were there for me when I needed help at the last minute. Friendly staff and good work. Thank you very much for your help. I highly recommend!

I had a great experience at The Color Company when I last visited them, few months back, for a repeat work. Not only they were cordial and super - efficient, but the price charged also was very reasonable. I would especially mention the names of Mike and Luke for all their help. I will surely be visiting them again in the near future if there is work.

Amazing service from Curzon Color ! Called up with an emergency request and Luke was super reactive and ready to help as quickly as he could for a private client of mine!!! From request to finish in under half an hour - will be using again!!! Thanks Penny

They made the services order for my mothers funeral on a bank holiday Monday with collection on the same day, well packaged and well priced, quick and responsive on email and phone.Highly recommend and very professional,Thanks again

Not satisfied with the service received from Richard.I have asked to print the document then will come and collect it, the soonest they could do is next day 10am. They sent me some old school form that needs to be printed, signed with credit card details (I have prepaid card). Which of course took time for me to fill, but I had the impression that they will still print by 10am next day.I called them again next day and they say that it will not be ready by anytime 10am because I did not sign their paper for payment.We live in the age where companies can just send link for arranging payment seamlessly - not the old school printing paper, filling the forms, signing and sending back - which takes time and the printing slot is also postponed

Excellent service! The staff were very helpful and friendly, they provided a very efficient service (5 minutes turn around!) and high quality result. Would definitely recommend their services.

My work needed moving cards printed quite urgently, they were able to get 200 comp slip sized post cards printed the very next morning. The staff were all very friendly and service was great! Beverley was so helpful and Chris from design did a great job! Would definitely recommend and I'd use their services again.
