Darren responded to my message immediately, and was at my house within the hour to get my boiler back up and running. He also gave me some great advice about how to upgrade my central heating, and answered some questions I had about the heating setup in my new house. Darren is very professional and knowledgeable, and extremely pleasant and courteous. I will definitely call CHS next time we need some work done.

Honestly can't recommend Darren enough. He has carried out several jobs for us over the past year including replacing storage heaters, repairing/replacing boiler, repairing saniflow toilet and also completely managed the re-fitting of our own bathroom - which included some major restructuring work being done. The last job was done whilst we were away on holiday which was a massive bonus to leave and come back to a brand new, beautiful bathroom! Darren is trustworthy, committed, highly knowledgeable and most-importantly veerrry patient with an idiot like me who didn't know the first thing about all this stuff! We will go nowhere else for jobs like this in the future.

We engaged CHS to perform a health check on our current boiler after purchasing the property.Darren explained that due to current covid rules he was only able to perform “essential or emergency work” . The point was well made and we accepted Darren’s advice on this matter.As luck would have it 3 days later the boiler packed in. We contacted Darren again to replace the boiler . He and his team have been nothing short of marvellous. They have kept us informed the whole way through the process of supplying and fitting a new boiler.The job was on time and on budget, the guys were tidy and efficient.Excellent team - would highly recommend!

Our heating system was 24 years old and we decided to replace before the winter. Looked up heating companies on Which for reliability and good reviews. We got a few quotes but CHS Glasgow stood out. Phoned the company number and spoke to Pamela, Darren's wife who was very helpful and said she would get him to contact us. Darren contacted us within the hour and came out later the same day. Was very thorough in assessing what we needed and listened to our preference to go with a Vaillant boiler as we had got a good run out of this make. The work was carried out by both Willie and Darren. They were very prompt and professional. We were informed the whole way the process of supplying and fitting. Efficient and tidy workers. Took away all the old radiators, boiler and rubbish. They even fitted a new kitchen sink tap that was leaking while they were doing the heating system. Darren then came back later on in the evening following completion of the job to ensure we understood how to use the thermostat. Extremely happy with the work carried out and have no complaints following a few cold snaps and high winds. System running like a dream. Would definitely use this company again.

Darren is friendly, trust worthy, and passionate about what he does. Any time we've needed boiler or plumbing work done, he's been in touch quickly and out to the house promptly. He is incredibly knowledgeable and has a really pleasant, professional manner. So glad we found CHS Glasgow when we first moved to our house as so far he's fitted a new boiler and fancy thermostat system, fixed both our toilets, and fitted our dishwasher, all without a hitch. We have and will keep recommending him!

Finally, a heating engineer who does what they say, when they say they will do it, at a very fair price.Darren at CHS helped me out, when another company was trying to profiteer from my boiler failure. He diagnosed the issue quickly, and was 50% cheaper than their quote. Got it sorted within the day, friendly, courteous and professional. Highly recommended.

If you're looking for a plumber, don't waste any time; phone C.H.S. I look for a few things in a tradesmen: 1) deliver a professional job, 2) reasonable price and 3) that you feel safe and at ease in your own home. C.H.S (Darren) covers all of the above. My boiler was leaking (not holding pressure) and my house was freezing but within an hour after calling C.H.S, Darren was at my property. Five minutes later, the job was done and the leak was fixed. I liked his professionalism so much that I arranged a service and a new part as part was worn. 48 hours later, the job was done. Boiler working better than ever. C.H.S and Darren both get 10/10. Totally a first class service.

Darren from CHS was recommended via a local FB group, and did not disappoint. The communication, quote process and final work were all excellent. He completed various plumbing and heating related work on time, and Darren himself was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, also offering advice when asked for it.

Goes 'above and beyond!'My husband came home from hospital after major surgery and despite our boiler working at full capacity, our house was cold. Darren had done work for my brother and I'd been impressed by his professionalism. I left a message with Pamela, his wife, and he phoned me back that night just after 7pm. He heard how worried I was and came out immediately to see what he could do. He advised us that our boiler needed to be replaced (it was nearly 20 years old) and to have our system flushed out, but to retain our radiators and thermostats as they were ok. He re-jigged his schedule so he could manage to fit us in before Christmas. The weather turned bitterly cold and Pamela phoned to ask if we'd like some extra heaters which we gratefully accepted.Darren came when he said he would and we found him to be knowledgeable, conscientious and extremely hard working. Our house has never been as warm! He explained what he was doing and why, and kept us informed all along the way. He tidied up after himself and took all the waste away.Our son and daughter were both here on Christmas Day and have both taken his phone number to have work done in their homes.Couldn't rate him highly enough!
