Safestore Self Storage Orpington

Needed storage and went for the 75sm, surprisingly bong area when you use floor to ceiling, got a very good starter rate for the space over the first 4 weeks and good for the next 4 weeks should I need it, all very good when arriving to get the storage unit was showed where it was and best way to access it, if your in need of storage found these the best rate of all the storage companies.

We came to Safestore Orpington today because we have reserved a unit for a couple of weeks time and wanted to know the procedure and what we'll need to do on the day. We were met by Harry - a wonderful and incredibly efficient customer service member who bent over backwards to help us. He explained in detail what we'll need to do on our first day of storage and showed us around. He took us to what will be our unit. He told us all we needed to know and we feel secure in the knowledge he offered us.What a wonderful person he is and great at his job as we even left with several packing boxes and tape after recommendations and he explained prices.With lots of storage unit companies springing up I'd always use Safestore Orpington if Harry stays the front man of the company because he really is a nice guy who knows his job role and does it extremely well. Nice one Harry and a big thanks for making us feel we matter.

A great experience, very reasonable rates but the staff are the stars. A big thank you to Mark the manager who could not be more helpful when I first contacted Safestore about my needs. I was under time pressure and needed to understand the policies and he was genuine and extremely helpful and made such a positive impression. This was backed up when I moved in and met Harry who showed me the ropes, he could not have been more helpful. The place is clean and well run and I am very confident about using the facility and that it is secure. Every time I have been I have met helpful staff or cheery fellow users. A positive experience all round but especially Thank You to Mark and Harry.

Arrived to store some furniture I had had delivered at Safestore but realised my reserved unit was way too small.Mark at the Orpington store couldn't have been more helpful. He offered us two different size units very close to the loading bay which was great as the furniture was very heavy and very large. He gave us two pump trolly's to help move the furniture and left us to decide which unit we needed.Mark was very swift with the paperwork to change the units and very helpful in terms of security.I will definitely be using Safestore Orpington in the future.

They will price match others in the area. Very friendly staff team willing and able to take instructions by email to let others in, manage keys, etc. Good service.

Moved in today, only called up at 3pm and had move my 2 bed house into a unit by 5.30pm! Harry was very helpful and is a credit to this company. Made everything as easy as possible. The price is much cheaper than other local companies too, and you only have to pay one month in advance which is better then the other quotes I had from other storage companies. Very happy! - Katie

Terrible service, avoid and shop around. Not transparent from the start as advertise a price then add the most expensive insurance if they can, ask for the lowest £1000 insurance and make a point of bringing your own lock otherwise they will add as much as they can on top of that original quoted price. Never leave your phone number as this guys are just sellers, not good one but annoying one. Also not transparent on 24/7 access as advertised outside, told they used to but not anymore, this is false advertising and should be taken further!!
