EMAR Putney Martial Arts Academy
My 4-year old daughter joined EMAR Putney a couple of months ago, this has been a fantastic experience for us as a family. Her sensei Simeon is very professional, patient and passionate about his work. Children learn a variety of techniques in a fun and very engaging way. As parents we feel very happy to see weekly developments. Couldn't recommend it more!

Probably the best Karate club in South West London where people of any age can learn martial arts in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Simeon is a great teacher, very friendly, positive and passionate about what he does. He is extremely knowledgeable trainer with many years of experience. He always motivates all his student and push them to the next level and help them to reach their goals.My 4.5 year old son has joined the dojo recently and he absolutely loves it.I would highly recommend the club to everyone, kids and adults.

My daughter and I joined these classes recently and we both love it. Sensai Simeon creates a terrific atmosphere where the kids (and adults) are encouraged to do their absolute best, but it’s also fun. The values of discipline and respect are key, and I love seeing my daughter develop a real enthusiasm for karate and fitness in general. Highly recommended.

Fantastic dojo! The sensei(s) are very competent and always enthusiastic and positive, providing great support for the kids. Even parents get great support with quick response to any questions, updates on general info and transparency regarding any changes. Most importantly, the kids look forward and enjoy attending every class and get both mentally and physically stronger!

Sensei Simeon is a truly gifted teacher. The pupils adore him and love attending his classes. The environment is so positive and every pupil (regardless of age/ability) is encouraged and made to feel welcome. Karate is not just about fitness and ability - it’s about self discipline, showing respect to those around you - and taking the time to listen. I truly wish there were more teachers of Sensei Simeon’s ilk in mainstream education-we would have much happier & well-behaved children!

I highly recommend EMAR Putney Martial Arts. Sensei Simeon inspires his students to work hard and make progress both physically (coordination, balance, strength, flexibility) and also in the mindset of determination, commitment and community. My son thoroughly enjoys his lessons.

Sensei Simeon has been key to my son's development and confidence. His classes are very good and thorough, but what I appreciate the most is the values he teaches, particularly the respect and the hard work values. I recommend him to anyone looking for an extracurricular activity for your child.

Excellent Martial Arts Academy. I was completely new to martial arts but Simeon was very helpful and re-assuring from the initial enquiry and throughout. Very much enjoyed the classes. Simeon is extremely dedicated to ensuring that everyone is happy with their training and that nobody is left out or unsure of anything. I found the classes intense in a good way, you really feel like you have had a good workout at the end of each class and leave feeling like you have learned several new skills, after each session. Prices are very reasonable for what you gain. Would highly recommend.
