Devil's Hole
We’d heard of this place so took a nice Sunday afternoon stroll along the beach to find it. The boys loved it and so did we. We’d previously done the Natterjack trail and skirted around it. We hadn’t realised it was so close. Worth a visit.

Cool place, take a sledge for the kids to zoom down the sand hills, don't let your dogs in the water, as it is a nesting place for natterjack toads and contains blue algae, which is toxic for the doggy. :(

Spent my entire childhood under a mile from here and never once did I hear the term Devil’s Hole. We used to call it the Blow Out or The Big Dipper. So many adventures and amazing times. Miss it like crazy. My work took me away but I do kinda one day dream of living here once again. I consider myself very very lucky. What a childhood :)

I love the sand dunes so much I could spend hours and hours wondering around exploring look at all the wildlife and landscapes.Such an excellent place for your mental and physical health!

It's taken me 20 years to find it but I don't know why because it's big enough!!! I suppose it was the poor signposting that threw me. As impressive as it is, the most entertaining thing about it was watching a dog play Fetch with himself and a small companion on the slopes. He would grab a ball, race up the side, drop the ball and chase it to the bottom.of the slope then repeat. Alternatively, he'd take the ball up the slope and then drop it for the smaller dog to chase down the slope.
