The atmosphere here is very warm and pleasant. Good place to get cover from the rain and gloomy weather outside.Enjoy a good pint!

Having spent a lot of time in Kew at the Kew Riverside homes over several years, but I’ve never been here. They redid the place recently. We had Sunday roast and some excellent dessert with an americano. Good menu with traditional food and some extras. Good cocktail and beer selection as well. The view of Kew Green is why you should consider it most

Friendly service, we also didn't have to wait long for our drinks even though there were 9 of us. We were also late after being in Kew gardens but they kept our table, which was nice. Disappointment was that 2 cocktails were unavailable that we wanted to order. May be better to say when giving out the menu what is not available.

A cool five stars for The Botanist on the southern border of Kew Green. Ice cold beer on a sunny spring day, what more do you need? Great service from lovely engaged staff, all with a smile. I didn't spot any cask ales but plenty from the keg to keep people happy. An exciting lookin menu, time does not allow me to indulge. A delightful venue!

We dined here after visiting Christmas at Kew. Convenient for the botanical gardens, 10 min walk from Victoria gate. Nice pub with welcoming and helpful staff. Good range of drinks and plentiful menu for food. Good specials available. Nicely cooked and presented food. Booking process was simple online.

We are visiting from the US and thought it was the perfect day to visit Kew Gardens while here in the UK. After a long day of walking we were starving and walked just a short couple of blocks to the Botanist on Kew Green. We are SO glad that we chose this restaurant to eat at because it was seriously our favorite meal while visiting. Everything tasted absolutely fresh and was beyond delicious. I got the calamari and falafel to snack on as my meal, the calamari was incredible and the falafel was so flavorful. Everyone was beyond kind and welcoming and both my boyfriend and I were really impressed with the quality, portion, and taste! It was also extremely trendy and classy and completely tied into our time in the gardens. Couldn’t have been a better end to our day. We will definitely be coming back here and spreading the word!

What a lovely little pub.Went on a Thursday around 4pm.Perfect for a date night or catch up with friends and family. Really cosy, relaxed atmosphere. It's beautifully decorated for Christmas, too.Everywhere was clean and well maintained, including the toilets. We were greeted warmly by our server almost instantly upon arrival. Our server, Craig, was wonderful the entire time we were there, and we felt well looked after. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. Thoroughly enjoyed all of it.Reasonably priced.Highly recommend.

This is a large modern pub/restaurant with an inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, and ample seatings. There were many corner and well placed tables for privacy, and it also has a nice small courtyard with outdoor seatings. The food is pretty average pub grub, nicely presented and competitively priced for the area. We enjoyed our lunch, although the patty in my bacon cheese burger didn't taste, nor looked like beef at all. It was possible that the chef used a vegetarian plant burger patty by mistake, lol, but it tasted nice, so I didn't make an issue of it.

Unfortunately, our experience was a little disappointing. The service was slow. When it arrived, very friendly and helpful, but slow. We had to ask 3 times for a drink and when it finally arrived it was wrong. Our table sat with empty drinks glasses, tea cups etc for so long we had to move them to the end of the table ourselves and they still weren’t collected (there were 7 of us so quite a lot of stuff). This is all despite the fact that there was hardly anyone in there for the first couple of hours. Overall the food was OK, but not as good as expected which was a shame. The beef roast, despite booking early, was dry and tough and the vegetables had a bitterness to them, which wasn’t very pleasant. Feedback on the burgers was very good and the fish and chips were also enjoyed. The non-alcoholic drinks options were very good (when available-unfortunately they ran out of some ingredients). Good selection of drinks overall. Desserts were lovely. The atmosphere and environment were really nice and we had a lovely table looking out over the green. Hopefully it would be different on another day!
