Have been going to see Robert for a few few years now, recently had him fit me for irons and I'd be back to sort the rest of the bag if the bank balance would allow it! He combines a professional service with a friendly atmosphere. Explains everything simply enough to understand and to be able to go away and work on it yourself with all the swing changes he's recommended. If I had the work ethic to go with it I have no doubt Robert would have me low single figures by now and next year maybe I'll be able to achieve that!

Robert is very amenable to help his customers and has excellent indoor training facilities for lessons and fitting with the golf simulator. He will find the right solution tailored to the golfer's needs. The shop is well stocked with good quality brands and Robert and his team can source equipment and clothing if not in their stock at competitive rates.

Had a few lessons with Robert who has been great. Working on a number of areas which we have identified. Robert has a good way explaining the reasons behind the changes and the benefits. I particularly like the follow up videos from each session which reiterates the areas to work on and allows you to refer back before heading out on the course or the driving range. Looking forward to reaping the benefit next summer!

Seen Robert a few times for lessons and he's helped my game alot. Fairly average amateur golfer however the advice and challenges set by Robert have helped my game significantly. Communicates very well and the environment is safe and clean. The after care Robert provides is very professional and it allows me to refer back to our lessons and allows me to keep developing. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for some support with there golf.

Fantastic club fitting facility and extremely professional service. Trackman and the associated technology gives me confidence and reassurance in the results being produced. Can't recommend this experience highly enough. Really helped my game and Robert's expertise in various different golf club brands was invaluable.

Robert had me hitting the ball further and more consistently right from the off.He has a relaxed coaching style and is easy to get on with. The video review he sends after the lesson is a great help when practicing myself.Look forward to my next session.

Robert is always very helpful and accommodating and I know from personal experience that his teaching is effective and his methods are easy to understand and follow. His shop is well stocked and he has always been able to arrange custom fitting. Would highly recommend.

The Professional's shop at Douglas Park Golf Club is well stocked with all the equipment and consumables needed by golfers. Additionally it has a Swing Studio equipped with the most up to date Tech including Trackman for all your lessons and even for virtual golf when the weather outside is particularly bad. So, what's my story and why am I writing this review...During 2019 a shot occasionally crept into my game which was particularly destructive. On the morning of a Medal, I went to the practice nets and to my horror discovered every practice shot that I took had this destructive element to it. With not much more than 30 minutes available until tee off on that very busy Saturday medal morning I went into the Pro's shop and begged help. I was bundled straight into the swing studio and had a quick 20 minutes lesson identifying the problem with my swing and correcting it...no charge. Thanks Robert and thanks Andrew!! That's service and it's that friendly and helpful service that sets this Pro shop apart. Did I win the medal...No. But I did get to enjoy the game and that destructive shot made no appearance during that game.

I've had lessons from Robert for a year and a half now and I am very happy with the progress we have made. He tailors each lesson to focus on something specific and gives me takeaways that can be practiced. I would recommend if you're just starting out or looking to tune up specific areas of your game! Robert is easy going and encouraging, great qualities in a coach!

I have now had a few lessons using the Trackman with Robert. He is very patient with me and offers great tips on how to improve my game. I love how the Trackman shows you how far you actually hit the ball as I have a terrible sense of distance! My putting has improved since having my lessons. I would recommend having lessons with Robert whether new to golf like me or have played for a long time like by hubby!
