We home educate and took our 4 boys here today it was amazing. The volunteers were brilliant and the boys had so much fun alongside learning about jazz throughout the years and the instruments, really welcoming museum. You can not ask more from the volunteers that work there. Thank you so much! Highly recommend.

I've been to many live music performances and talks at the Jazz Centre, and I love looking at the displays; then there are the bargain secondhand records and books for sale. And I mustn't forget the helpful volunteers. All in all a great cultural asset for jazz aficionados and for those wishing to discover more about the music.

What a gem! The national centre of Jazz on our doorstep in Southend! We had a great time listening to jazz from the best of our musicians. As a keyboard player a particular shout out to the amazing talented and versatile Nick Dawson. If you love jazz, check out the Jazz Centre!

What a great idea Digby had, I guess as the record librarian many years ago it was on his mind then, we are extremely lucky to have the local celebrity Digby Farweather in Southend good luck may it last for ever.

Fantastic space full of jazz! A real gem in Southend. Gigs every weekend and lots if other activities. Fantastic display of jazz paraphernalia, instruments, vinyl covers, etc.

What a wonderful venue. I attended a rendition of Ugetsu today and it was superb. I could not think of a better way to spend the afternoon. Thanks a lot. I would definitely attend any events that showcased hard bop legends it really brings the music to life and I am fairly new to it so it really captured my imagination.
