Derby Arboretum (Arboretum Park)
Beautiful place for a stroll. Wide, tarmacadam paths, plenty of seats, colourful plants. Unfortunately, litter bins were overflowing, and lots of takeaway rubbish about. Some very interesting tree specimens, but sadly, no labels.

Derby Arboretum (Arboretum Park)
Claimed to be the oldest public park in the country. Must have been beautiful new as some of the buildings by the main gates off Osmaston Road would have been stunning mansions. The are other entrances I believe and it’s worth a stroll round if you’re in the area..

It’s a nice quiet park, well maintained and a nice playground.Enough benches around the park.There is an ice cream van inside the park.It must be nice to enjoy the park on warm days.

It's a nice quiet place.. you can just relax and read book or just sit in nature.. it's has got a children's play area as well
