Aberdein Considine

I have been dealing with this firm since last September for the private sale of a property. I can honestly say they are rather incompetent and overpriced considering the amount of work they did and could not seem to complete simple requests. My personal solicitor Eleanor was responsive and professional and was the only saving grace to an otherwise horrible experience.

Professional and responsive as always. I have used Aberdein Considine on several occasions since 1982 and they have always been excellent. In a nutshell, they do the job, keep you informed at all stages through to completion and best of all, the staff are friendly and wecoming. Everyone is on first name terms and there is none of the stuffiness sometimes associated with the legal profession. Costs are set out clearly in advance and I'm sure are in line with other firms. My personal experience has always been with the Dyce office but I'm sure all offices operate at a similar level. Highly recommended.

Aberdein Considine and Fiona Wildgoose in particular have been excellent to work with and helped in a friendly and professional manner at a time that was extremely stressful.

Eleanor and Samantha were absolutely fantastic from communication to explanations through this particularly demanding time (2020) Second time using and will definatley recommend.

A year a go we rented a house from Aberdeen considine and were settling in well after they sent us a notice to vacate the house.The agency rep Mr Andrew Baker had lied to us that the landlord was looking for a long term tenant while he knew that the house had been sold . We had even made plans and got a dog and even got pregnant with the view of raising our family in that house only to be told to vacate less than two months into our stay.Aberdeen considine through their rep Mr Andrew Baker acted in bad faith and unprofessional by not clearly telling us what the deal was.Mr Baker also broke lockdown rules after showing up one Sunday morning at our door step shouting at us to move out while my pregnant wife lay upstairs in painAberdeen Considine showed lack of consideration after being their repeat tenant in two other places.Keep your eyes open when getting a house from this agency.Terrible!

Professional enough but cold and exploitative to tenants. Be very careful or they will take every penny of your deposit. Charging for tiny marks etc.

Would not recommend this company.Have recently purchased a property through these guys and they have made things extremely complicated.The first day of moving in - The previous owners had left glass all over the front garden which resulted in my puppy's paws getting cut up, not only were we not notified of this at all but nothing was attempted to clean it.The house had the garage and garden absolutely full of rubbish, so full to the point some of it was hanging from the ceiling.Aberdein Considine's solicitor Hannah advised us we need to take everything up to the driveway for the sellers from heavy arcade machines to broken beds, wood, cement blocks etcHannah advised once this is done, then her clients can take it all.They were absolutely in the wrong as we had a list of items which were getting left, it was a part of the contract- under no circumstances should we have been the ones to move all sellers rubbish.In the end the sellers got most of their rubbish, not even a month into moving in we found out there was a leak underground the whole time which means changing all piping underneath the house which I'm sure you can appreciate won't be a cheap fix.This company holds no standards, cannot inform their clients of an appropriate way to leave property upon moving out.I hope they strive to improve for the future....

Horrible experience. ON MY DAY ONE, the charged me for the repair of a faulty and old door lock. I was locked out of my room and everything I had was in there. I even had to ask people on the streets in the COLD to use their phones to call them and they said it wasn’t an EMERGENCY!!! I couldn’t even buy food or water for hours!!! They weren’t even planning to bring the locksmith that day if not that I pushed!!! Maybe because I’m not Scottish I was treated HORRIBLY!!!

5/5 service.From the mortgage advisor to the solicitor, they were all incredibly helpful and made what could seem a daunting process easy. Highly recommend!
