Staunton Country Park Car Park

Stayed for less than 2 hours, charged for 4!!!!

Lovely park but because we were there just 2 hours and 10 mins we got charged £6 for parking charges for 2 or 4 hours no 3 hour choice a rip off won't be going there again .

Relaxing space, interesting history, superb tea room and loads of space to sit on the green and watch the wild life.

Why does this car park close so early 17:00 in the summer? So can't go for a walk around after work in the summer months it is daylight until 21:00, should local councils be encouraging people to take advantage of local outside spaces during current circumstances ps could generate more income leaving open longer and have Happy voters money and voters isn't this what you love most

OMG the cost! £4.50!! Why? The carpark nearer the farm is only £2 and gets refunded if you buy farm tickets.I have no idea why anyone thought this level of charge was appropriate! If you want folks to use the cafe, leave them some money to afford it!

Parking cost £4.50 to go and have a bun and coffee. Will not go there again.

The cost of parking there is extortionate. It certainly does NOT support the cafe as it makes refreshments even more expensive when you cost in the parking.Moreover, with their extortionate parking charges, many people park over the road in the residential areas. Hardly fair to them.Motorist gets ripped off again!!!!!

As a disabled person if have to say I find this car park a very disappointing experience. I live not more than 15 min walking distance from this place - if I could walk like I used to I could freely goto this space. But as a disabled person on very limited income I find that it like many now are charging for parking even if you are disabled - perhaps a statement about the level of 'kindness' towards people. Even then if I did pay the charge I would find that it closes at 5pm - a very strange situation since not more than 1 minutes drive into Rowlands Castle and there is a free car park (at the moment) for Havant Thicket that backs onto Leigh Park Gardens - if I was able to walk the distance then I would use that instead. I grew up on this estate and I find it a sad statement. Sign of the times and attitudes indeed. And no, I won't be using the place.
