Nice pub with a well spacious beer garden, well equipped with a few sheltered tables with heating. Family friendly with playing area for kids. Service was a bit slow and inconsistent on a very busy day, but staff were friendly and apologetic. Food was very tasty! Loved the halloumi fries. Would definitely come back.

Not a bad pub, large with big garden. Good selection of dishes, however the food is good, but not top class. We had burgers and nachos, the burgers where OK, and the nachos were a little soggy. This pub is part of the Barons pub chain, it nice but just needs more quality on the food side.

Nice pup with a large beer garden and family friendly. I had the Sunday carvery which was good quality. The parking is a bit limited and will fill up fast on nice weekends. Need to book a table if you want to dine indoors as it is a popular place.

The meal didn't all arrive together and we had nearly finished our course before the other meals arrived. The meals weren't very hot and by the time we waited they were getting colder so had to start eating while the others waited for their food. Meals were nicely presented and ample just the service let it down.

You can come here for a drink as the atmosphere is nice, especially on a sunny day. In regards to food, we are vegan but the food is not very tasty. They did not have the Tempeh katsu curry so we chose the mushrooms Wellington that was tasteless unfortunately. It says fresh tomato sauce, but it comes directly from the can to your plate. The vegetables are boiled and blended. You get a whole mushroom with a bit of pastry on top and this is the dish. The crispy courgette fritters came soaking in oil and tasteless as well. The price of the mushroom Wellington is almost the same price as the salmon, so it is quite overpriced as well. Also, the salad that came as a side dish for my daughters plate was full of vinager and expired. We paid £100 in 3 main courses, 2 starters, 2 glasses of wine and 1 glass of juice. They could definitely make a better effort on the vegan food provided.

Had a lovely meal with a friend. It was very busy so our meals took a little longer than usual. The staff were great at keeping us informed of when our meals would be ready. Food was great and the staff very attentive and helpful. Thanks Cricketers for a good night out.

£20 for a Sunday roast. It is more expensive than a standard Sunday roast however the quality is better also. This is one of the best Sunday roasts I've ever had.Decent options of meats: beef brisket, beef, chicken, turkey, etc.Unlimited non-meat options which basically turns it into an all-you-can-eat experience.I recommend it.

Had a wonderful pub lunch after ages and Harry the member of staff was awesome, ever so patient as I was spoilt for choice on what to eat. He was brilliant. Wonderful atmosphere and great selection of drinks. An experience I'll remember forever

The pub is tucked away behind a private road with ample parking behind and in front of green, the amenities are clean and comfortable with diners high chairs and tables as well and the traditional seating and tables. It offers seating outside in the garden area as the front of house some with cover, although the front seating can experience gush of wind as it’s mainly in shade most of day, great place for family and the Sunday carvery is an absolute gem the roasties are best I’ve eaten the selection of vegetables are very good especially the parsnips and roasted veg, the plates are good size please feel free to pile on what you want even Yorkshire puds. The meat selection looks amazing but tastes rather bland and the only reason why I don’t offer 5 stars is the price and the waiting around as it is best to book ahead for the carvery as demand high, why prices keep going up but value and quality remains same, friendly staff and it is an enjoyable experience.

Yes the typical English Sunday restaurant.Great atmosphere and really good service. The salt and pepper squid as a starter, I can recommend. Ribs were great, and the chefs special was also really tasty. Just over £30 per adult with a drink and a sweet. Really worth it.
