I have had an excellent experience using Acorn. They were very competitive form a price perspective, very responsive with excellent communications both via e-mail and telephone when booking the survey and provided a very clear easy to understand report via e-mail and a hard copy in the post. The post survey discussion was the most helpful of all with ample time to discuss and ask questions on all aspects of the survey. Excellent service. Highly recommended.

Matt Isherwood carried out a house survey for us recently, and his report was absolutely fantastic. It was extremely detailed and clear to read. Different sections of the report were cross-referenced so that we could understand which problems were connected, and Matt was happy to talk through everything on the phone with us too. Acorn's communications were also excellent. We will be using Acorn again and recommending to our friends!

Was recommended Matt Isherwood by an acquaintance who is also a commercial surveyor.Matt carried out the survey and in the extremely detailed report managed to provide a VERY clear picture of potential problems regarding subsidence and the likelihood of it being present. He also went into the loft and identified poor roofwork which could result in a new roof being required, combined with extra investigative work which found evidence of possible cowboy roofing practises.Finally (and this should give a real idea of how thorough he is), he identified poor carpentry in the loft conversion which could also result in the walls bowing out now/in the future.Highly recommended as he is EXTREMELY thorough combined with a high level of expertise in his field.
