We went to see Ben Ottewell as part of the North Sea WKNDR festival.Amazing venue, full of character and a great atmosphere for small events.Looking forward to going back soon

Tynemouth Volunteer Life Brigade Watch House Museum
Wonderful hidden gem. Dave and his team were so welcoming to our group, and during our visit we heard plenty of fascinating stories, and were allowed to wander around the museum at our own pace. Lovely building , packed with artifacts and history. Highly recommended.

The Tynemouth Volunteer Life Brigade use their searchlight to illuminate the adjacent Admiral Collingwood (Battle of Trafalgar fame) on Trafalgar Day. A very moving gesture.
