Shane and Rick were excellent from start to finish. Before they finished the days work they always left the roof watertight and cleaned away old tiles and general rubble. We were always kept informed on progress. They worked hard throughout the day and only stopped for very short lunchbreaks. SV Roofing was competitively priced and the work carried out to a high standard. We would definitely use Shane and his crew again.

We had our roof completely renewed by Shane and his team (SV Roofing & Renovation). His quote was not the cheapest, but the quality of his work justified the cost. The delivery of tiles was unfortunately delayed by several months owing to the shortage of supply. Once the work was started, Shane and his team came early and punctually every day without fail except weekends. The fact that work was being done on the roof had little impact on our daily activities indoors. They tidied up and swept away some of the dust every evening. We liked the fact that Shane took the initiative to inform us of imperfections in our house's structure that he had come across. That allowed us to carry out repairs that we had not realised were necessary and urgent. The whole job was finished on time. The roof now looks solid, weatherproof and cheerful because of its brighter colour. Shane gave us a receipt after the final payment and a certificate of guarantee for 10 years. We would recommend Shane and his team to anyone looking for trustworthy builders for roofing and house renovation.

Shane did a great job replacing a leaking box gutter on my terraced house in SE London. He helpfully identified and resolved a number of minor issues with my roof during the works. Good comms, started when he said he would and got the job done swiftly, with minimum disruption and a great result. Recommended

I live in a Victorian Corbett house with tall chimneys and a bay in the front, all built with typical absorbent Victorian bricks and soft lime mortar. Over time, seeing that much of the mortar had washed away, I got various builders to repoint, but they never raked out properly and used ordinary cement mortar, so the absorbent bricks sucked the new mortar dry before it got a proper hold. So the new pointing would always fall off after a few months.Getting up level with the chimneys I was shocked to see some of the horizontal mortar joints that were supposed to have been repointed were completely empty. You could see into the inside of the chimney through them. A gale could have brought tons of brickwork down.Also the lead flashings around chimneys and party wall were not adequately wedged into the brickwork.So I got SV Roofing & Renovation Ltd who made a thorough job of raking out all the mortar joints (25mm deep throughout) and treating with PVA water resistant fluid to prevent moisture being sucked out of the new repointing mortar before it set. They also secured the lead flashings properly and renewed the inadequate valley gutters over the bay.All in all, it was a very good refurbishment of our roof and chimneys and should last many decades.If your house was built more than 100 years ago I strongly recommend you closely inspect its chimney pointing and roof flashings, and get SV Roofing & Renovation Limited to refurbish them.

SV Roofing / Shane and his team were excellent from start to finish. They replaced the flashing and rendering on our roof. The result is a work of art. They also removed worn, wood cladding from the front of the house and replaced it with uPVC. It looks lovely now.They were a pleasure to deal with, and they have a great work ethic. They arrived bright and early each morning, and worked through to late afternoon. They were very neat and tidy, and always happy to explain what and why they were doing. Shane and his team assisted us with a full roof replacement. The works included a new side gutter gulley, new roof for our front bay window and some repair works to our window sills. It was quite a big job but what I liked about Shane is that he took time with his quote and statement of works, setting it all out clearly and professionally. When he conducted his first site visit he took photos with his drone to get a good look at what was needed. During the works, Shane was a pleasure to work with - always respectful and happy to answer any questions and keep you up to speed with progress. It is clear he takes pride in his craft and that was reassuring. We were very happy with the final outcome, completed on time and within budget. I have already recommended SV roofing to friends.

Shane and the team took on the job at short notice after all the storms. He stopped the leaks then returned promptly to ensure issue never returned. Work was completed professionally with a real tidy finish. He provided good value and a warranty. Very impressed!

SV Roofing and Renovation replaced the Main Flat Roof of our property.The experience of dealing with Shane and his crew is very positive.They have an extremely good work ethic and this is reflected in the quality of their workmanship which we are very happy with.It is worth mentioning that on the weekend of storm Alex (30 Sept 2020 – 3 Oct 2020), that despite efforts to make the roof water tight, it could not withstand the deluge and we did sustain extensive water damage to our ceilings.I would however like to commend Shane on how he dealt with this situation. He was empathetic and took the initiative to put things right" implementing restorative measures returning all back to it's original condition. I contacted Shane to make minor repairs to a tiled roof. He was polite, turned up when he said he would and carried out the repairs that left the roof looking like new again.I'd happily use him again and recommend him to others.
