Defford Marina Ltd

Our first meeting with Geoff & Emma we were very impressed with the whole feeling of the Marina and are looking forward to mooring our boat there for the coming season x

Excellent traditional boat house that's well worth a stop off for a drink or snack

Stopped our boat here on a super rainy and windy day to get a drink and have lunch. We went into the bar and bought a drink each and sat inside. Not a vegan friendly place so bought something from farm shop round the corner. Got back to boat and started to leave when suddenly an old man ran out from the bar screaming at us telling us to stop. Apparently we hadn't spent enough money and he kept shouting that we only bought one coke which was a lie. He also threatened us saying he would tell everyone about us which I found super over the top. I hadn't seen him in there earlier so can only presume he got the wrong end of the stick and thought we'd done something terrible. I'd understand his upset if we had been there for hours but we weren't! Anyway super weird, ugly vibe at this place so don't bother.

If you have a boat and want to eat or drink Fri. to Sun. there is no better place.... warm welcome by nice people good food good drinks with views to die for...

Beautiful place, truly a hidden gem

Lovely peaceful marina with a relaxed atmosphere and some stunning views. Excellent clubhouse and a great location to explore the Avon from, and also the river Severn.
