Food is small portions but soo good! Had the grilled chicken, it is so smoky and tender! The spicy crème brûlée is also nice, sweet and spicy hit.The sea bass tartare is fine but not impressive compared with others. The eggplant one is also decent, it is spiced and seasoning nice.Although it is a bit pricey, it is worth to try once!

Had the chocolate and halva bun and it was super delicious, soft and full of flavours. Staff were nice.

Food:- Every dish I had here was top notch.- Had the Fid Fashioned, which was a really solid twist on an Old Fashioned.- Started with both the breads, Afghan Khobz and Pain d'epi, alongside the Kapia Brulee - the breads were fresh and individually special in their own way, but the Kapia Brulee was the star of the show (it's a sweet yet somewhat savoury dip that goes really well with the breads).- Tried the Navelina Crudo, which was a Yellow Tail Crudo with Orange/Olives - first time trying a Crudo, and it was genuinely brilliant, but might be an acquired taste.-The Atlas Raclette was a good main, with potatoes in a strong and rich cheese, but it was the weakest of the three mains we tried.- The Merguez Shakshukit was amazing, with well spiced meat that went well with the breads (yes, we got extra).- The Barbary Chicken was superb, with a load of different spices giving it a lot of flavour.- Had the Hashcake to finish which I think is a must-try if you have space!Service:- Great service, with our waitress explaining every dish in amazing detail, helping us get exactly what we'd love.Atmosphere:- Intimate restaurant with a very very small space - staff do really well to serve everyone in such a tight space.- Great lighting and ambience.- Might be a bit too small, but I get the attraction.

Intimate setting, excellent service, and amazing food that makes you want to travel to Morocco immediately. We came here on Valentine’s Day and loved it. Staff are so attentive (and catered well for my nut allergy) and the food is just incredible. Flavours are interesting and exciting. Dishes are to share - although quite expensive, it’s worth it!

Great service, good food, especially the salmon and Jerusalem Bagel. Other dishes tasted good, but the spices used were a little samey towards the end.

We really enjoyed our meal at The Barbary. It's a little tucked away near Neal's Yard and isn't real large inside but you have all the room you need once you're seated. We were told up to a 40 minute wait (no booking) but were seated inside 20 minutes. All the dishes were great, had a carafe of something Granadan (seemed to suit the occasion) and it was a great little wine. Meals were unique and well-balanced. Service was attentive, helpful, and fun; staff were great to chat with. We were quite full when we left, despite expecting a light tapas dinner. Highly recommend stopping by.

Didn’t recognise anything on the menu but the staff were so helpful and took us through everything. Fun vibe and excellent food. Highly recommend the octopus and the pepper/feta cold dish. The Barbary Next Door is VERY small and you’ll sit at the counter so don’t take big bags!

I had wanted to try the food here for a while, and the food was great. However, the music was so loud that we could not have a conversation. Maybe it's a bit quieter at lunch?

The food is delicious and the flavours and very well balanced. The service is amazing BUT for the price, you get very little food. I spent £33 and left feeling hungrier than when I entered. The vibe is nice but at what cost?
