had high hopes but the food turned out to be quite disappointing. tortilla wraps used for the shawarma wraps felt inauthentic and odd. hummus was chunky and not at smooth. macaroni was stale and reheated; also very bland and flavourless. service was very slow and each persons food came out very staggered. price was cheap however so cant expect much better. hope to see them improve

Best beef burger ever!! Thick homemade patty and really one of the best one I ate in the UK. It was also 3£ only!! Will definitely come again and the owner is very friendly. Glad I tried this restaurant <3

I really had a great experience enjoying reasonably priced authentic Egyptian food in a nice Egyptian atmosphere and music.If you're looking for an authentic Egyptian restaurant, this definitely the right place.

Delicious food and very affordable - I had the chicken shawarma with chips, salad, a drink, and a knafeh dessert for just under £10. The staff were very friendly too. I'll be back for more soon.

Really comfortable atmosphere to sit and wait for food. Took our food to go but would’ve been lovely to stay and have it there.The chicken schwarma meal was incredible and will definitely be going again.

I desperately wanted to eat some hearty, tasty food during my hospital stay at the QE so ordered a takeaway from Sphinx Kitchen.I thoroughly enjoyed my lamb and chicken meat, rice, bulgar and salad, topped with soft, fluffy bread. It was all extremely flavoursome and the meat was tender. After eating my meal, I was very satiated because the portion size was generous and filling.I look forward to eating there in person one day and try out more authentic Egyptian food. Thank you for cheering me up with lovely food during a challenging time in hospital.

Went to Sphinx Egyptian Street Food for lunch with my partner. After ordering our food, we waited for it to arrive only for my partner's food to arrive but mine did not. The man serving walked out of the shop leaving us unable to ask when my food would arrive. After waiting for 20 minutes, we ended up checking only to find that my order had completely been ignored. We had not been charged for it, but the guy at the till hadn't said a word about the food I had ordered.The atmosphere is nice, and from what I tasted of my partner's food, it's pretty good, but the experience was unfortunately soured by poor customer service.
