Helions Forge

I live in Saffron Walden and found this company online when thinking about a new gate. I contacted them and along came a pleasant young man who discussed my ideas with me. He then went away and came up with some designs. After numerous changes and suggestions, we arrived at a final design. The gate was then forged and photos sent to at intermittent stages of its manufacture. In time, first gate posts then the new gate arrived and were put up. Less than a hour later than the first passers-by were standing gazing at our gate in wholesome admiration.I recommend these fellows at Helions Forge highly. At every stage of the process, they were helpful, obliging and flexible, but most importantly they proved themselves to be outstanding artisan craftsmen.

I contacted Helions Forge to create a structure to contain and support a vigorous rambling rose recently brought down by a gale. I found the team at the forge young, enthusiastic, willing to experiment and adapt, imaginative with suggestions, a real pleasure to work with. They delivered, spot on time, a beautiful, elegant , unobstrusive and robust structure which has far passed my expectations. I am absolutely delighted and would recommend them most warmly.

Stuart and James are excellent skilled crafts men - and brilliant at what they do.We were recommended to them for cast iron gates and railings around our front door and window - they made an excellent job in just 2/3 days. We will of course recommend to anyone else.They are both very calm characters which made everything seem easy from point of first phone call to final installation.Thank you guys

Helions Forge completed a total refurbishment of a Bandstand in our village and did a fantastic job. The guys were very professional from start to finish and nothing was to much trouble for them. Would definately use them again as their standard of workmanship is superb.

We commissioned Helions Forge to deliver 1m fencing with a large gate. We required scroll work to match some quite intricate existing fencing. The work was delivered on time and on budget. Standard of the metal work and scrolling was very good. The two brothers are very likable and easy to work with. i felt I was in good hands at all times. Highly recommend

Absolutely amazing service. Very professional, and work is incredible. I moved into a new house and one of the stair railings was missing. I asked Helions Forge if they could make it for me and match it to the others (it was quite a complicated and unique design). They managed to match it completely. Stuart and his brother are talented and highly industrious young men who designed and installed railings for the end of our terrace. Customer service is impeccable and they have created a really elegant enhancement that echoes the windows of our Victorian home in Cambridge. I'm extremely happy with the result and the way they worked to install the railings. I would thoroughly recommend them and their work..
