Ysgol Plas Brondyffryn School

I started Ysgol Plas Brondyffryn in 1983, where the school was in Ystrad Road at the time and I was a Residential Pupil there. I had a brilliant time at the school where I made friends with nearly everybody and all the staff were great with me. When I was 12 years old, I moved to Ty'n Fron but I went to Denbigh High School for some lessons. I left Brondyffryn in 1991 to go to another school, which was a mainstream school but it didn't work out so I went to another Special School a year later. Ysgol Plas Brondyffryn was the best school in the world.

I have been in this school 4 eight years and it's my last year here this year too gosh I will miss this school when I'm gone

My two sons attend the school both juniors and high school. The staff are brilliant and so supportive I get regular updates etc I cannot fault it. I’m really glad we chose this school

If your autistic kid wants a future, this isn't where they're going to find it. A few very good teachers, particularly in the core subjects, but awful management and absolutely no opportunity given to higher-level students. NO respect given to students of any kind. This high school is not a good decision. I regret it every day.

I did work experience here at this school a few years back and I can not fault the staff they are fantastic! The students were well looked after superbeb.
