Proplas fibreglass roofing

Amazing job! Phil never stopped working and despite the various tricky angles, slopes and edges has finally given me a waterproof roof! This was the 3rd roof I have had and wish I had used Proplas at the start as I would have ultimately saved money and lots of stress. Not cheap, but deft worth every penny. Highly recommended

Phil came and inspected a faulty fibreglass roof that another roofer laid and we had endless problems with. He took photos and videos for us explaining the issues and likely causes which helped me build a strong case against the original roofers (which led to me receiving a partial refund). Phil gave me a couple of options and explained the pros and cons of each. We opted for a full replacement which is guarenteed for 25 years. Phil worked diligently to strip the faulty roof and completely replace it, all within the agreed time frame and budget. We are absolutely delighted with the finished result, Phils workmanship is second to none. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Phil came to our rescue when after the dry summer it became apparent that our builder installed roof was leaking like a sieve and very badly around the skylights.Our builder walked away from the build due to this and other issues with the quality of the build.We looked at various options but Phil was confident that he could make our roof watertight and he has! I can at last stop looking anxiously at the ceiling every time it rains!Phil also kindly provided us with a photographic report to take the builder to court.I cannot recommend him highly enough he worked so hard, explained everything, came when he said he would and the roof looks like a different product. He also fixed the roof lights with the Velux screws that arrived as he was finishing and didn't charge us. He is also a really lovely chap to have around.

I have no hesitation in recommending Proplas.Nearly two years on, through feet of snow and blazing sun, their glass fibre roof on our extension still looks as good as new.Our builders originally suggested a pitched roof for our new 5m x 4m extension but this would have meant having an almost inaccessible gulley close to a side wall. They then proposed a traditional ‘three felts’ flat roof, but in the past I had encountered problems with one leaking.Looking at alternatives I decided on glass fibre and got quotes from three possible suppliers. Proplas was competitive and the deal was sealed by receiving glowing references from two of their previous customers.Phil Mooney was very helpful during the design stage and recommended several things which neither I nor the builders would have thought of. This included putting translucent fibreglass over a walk-on glass skylight above a passageway so there would be a continuous covering with no possibility of leaks.On the day of the installation he and a colleague arrived on time and worked extremely hard. They also got on very well with our builders who, being a small local company, had no previous experience of glass fibre roofing and were understandably anxious.The result is nothing short of superb!Everyone who sees our extension comments on how good the roof looks.A great plus is that I’ve been able to climb onto it a couple of times to clear off leaves and debris and to wash it down. I’m sure it will stay as good as new for many years to come. Despite being deluged by very heavy rain it has of course remained bone-dry.Well done Phil, an expert job in every respect.

Would recommend this gentleman to anyone who was thinking of having a fibreglass roof. He's a very knowledgable, conscientious hardworking individual. Always clean and tidy. He wasn't happy until I was 100% happy with the roof. Would definitely use him again without a doubt!!
