The training professional for this course was very welcoming, he spent the time to get to know us all individually which helped break the ice for those who did not know one another, for myself that was more than half the group and by the time the course started I felt very relaxed and eager to learn and engage. I feel the course was very thorough, there was content I wasn't expecting such as detailed explanations as to the importance of prioritising different needs within a life or death situation. It made me feel that if all courses were similar that I would feel extremely safe within any work force and I highly recommend this particular course to all businesses. The conductor was thorough, offered assistance to express our own thoughts and opinions and offered valuable professional advice when requested. The communication before the course was welcoming and thorough, there was no room for mistake in time and location and I was impressed by the thoughtful welcoming message this came with. After care for this course was also impressive, coming with pamphlets, handbooks, recognised information of our new qualification to assist others on top of online support. The only disadvantage to this course in my honest opinion would have been the lack of mutual respect of some participants who had a strict time scale to depart, this could have prevented the remaining of the course to be rushed if they had mentioned this before the start of the training simply within an email or if this was a last minute priority then as they had arrived that morning. I feel the conductor could implement some form of request prior to the training beginning to discuss whether there is any one needing to leave so he would be able to tailor his time more efficiently for all that are attending. The conductor with care spent the time after the course had ended to re cover the aspects that were rushed for those who wanted to discuss these points more, which was a fantastic offer but should not have been necessary due to others in consideration. With that being said I do feel he managed to cover all areas of the course quickly and efficiently and I feel I left gaining some very valuable information and would feel confident dealing with a first aid situation.Highly recommended for any one wanting to add safety and security to their businesses and employees/service users

I did an Emergency First Aid at Work course with Michael on Monday in my work place and it was excellent. Clear and concise information, delivered in a friendly way. Communication before, during and after the course was excellent and I now feel confident to use the knowledge I gained. I am pleased to say I will also be doing the Mental Health in the Workplace Level 2 with Michael tomorrow, the communications I have received in the lead up to this have also been excellent. Highly recommend.

It was my 1st first aid course so i cant make a comparison, but as one who normaly flee’s rather than fights in an emergency it was a pretty good course.Before our first practical i did start to feel i wasnt taking much in as i felt it was a lot of info to get, but as most of the actual questions are related to the practicals it was easier to learn from that,Over all it was relaxed, fun and a lot less boring than i had imagined,

The instructor was patient, took his time and explained everything clearly and was encouraging throughout. This was my first time in a classroom environment for over 30 years and I felt happy, comfortable and didn’t feel rushed in any way. A thoroughly enjoyable experience (unlike school).

Highly recommend to everyone and anyone!I volunteer for a mental health charity and run my own dog and pet business. I can hand-on-heart say the mental health course and pet/canine first aid courses are very professional and informative. I will be continuing to use Cairns Connection Training. Thank you so much!

I did the mental health training with Michealin June 21 . He explained the course in great details .. no question was a problem and went above and beyond to help everyone .. He went over the allocated training time . He is dedicated and always willing to take time to explain . Highly recommended ...
