Downland Veterinary Group

Been with downland vets for most of my dogs life, but feel they have no care for pets and also about how much money they can get out of you. Currently looking for new vets as why should anyone take their pet to people that care more out how much they can get out of you then the actual care. Would given 0 stars if i could

I contacted Downland in 2020 as I found an injured wild bird and was recommended to contact them as I had no other resources. Staff were extremely helpful and agreed to accept the bird so I could return it to its home. The bird was still a baby and was only slightly injured due to a cat but they were wonderful in how they did things and empathetic to the well being of the bird. I did take baby back to his place and set him free where he returned to his mum & dad and was free from harm. It was such a lovely moment and nice knowing that as a community our wildlife is still hugely important to us and to the animals and to our mental well being. Thank you so kindly x

Excellent and friendly nurses and vet, highly recommend. Plenty of parking out the back as well as a grassy area to walk the dog before/after appointments

The vet Martin was excellent with my cat. Very patient with her as she was a bit wiggly. The reception staff are very helpful and kind.

A great vets with a passion for animals. They took great care of our dog, Gizmo. Our god had cancer and they took amazing care of him!

I am unhappy that after 2 visits, my dog is getting worse, and nothing was done to ascertain his situation. Feel like we spent money, and my poor baby had no improvement. He is still suffering from what led us there. I'm returning for one last time saying what we believe my dog has (dermodex) and see what happens...

great staff, very good vets so good with my nervous boy and my cheeky girl, very reassuring, helpful and caring.

Always very helpful and puts the animals at ease lola is so calm when she goes ther I'm pleased she is not scared of going there which is good for her future going to the vets
