Lower Marsh Farm
I embarked on an extraordinary journey during the summer of 2023, spending three enchanting weeks at Lower Marsh Farm as part of my shamanic practitioner certification. From the very moment I arrived, I was enveloped in a warm embrace of hospitality and care that made this experience truly unforgettable. The staff at Lower Marsh Farm were the embodiment of openness, friendliness, warmth, and kindness. It was as if I had found a second home among these wonderful people. They not only remembered each of our names but also our individual preferences, including our unique tastes, ensuring that our every need was met with precision and grace. The accommodations were nothing short of splendid. The rooms exuded a sense of home, providing a comforting sanctuary after our daily adventures. The bathrooms were not just functional but also remarkably cozy, mirroring the charm of the cottages and yurts scattered throughout the property. Simplicity, tastefulness, cleanliness, and comfort were woven into every aspect of Lower Marsh Farm's design. The surroundings were a picturesque dream. The precision and care put into maintaining the grounds and the neighboring areas were evident at every turn. We had the privilege of exploring the nearby forest and indulging in the tranquility of the river Tamar just a short walk away. Our dining experiences were a true delight. Lower Marsh Farm prided itself on serving delectable meals crafted from fresh, organic, locally sourced produce. From hearty feasts to light snacks, we were pampered with an array of flavors, complemented by refreshing drinks and an abundance of fruit. It was a culinary journey that mirrored the diverse needs and tastes of our large group, a testament to the staff's unwavering commitment to ensuring our satisfaction.I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Lower Marsh Farm for these blissful days that I will treasure forever. I wholeheartedly recommend this idyllic retreat to anyone seeking a weekend getaway or a group escape. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to return with my family, using this enchanting haven as a base to explore the wonders of Cornwall. Lower Marsh Farm is not just a place; it's an experience that will leave you with cherished memories to last a lifetime.

What a Beautiful place. Olivia was very helpful and friendly she even let my little girl into the vegetable garden to see the nesting pea hen. We stayed in Bulmarsh barn which was just stunning. Everything was so clean and there was even a box of toys for our little one to play with. We were so very pleased and would fully recommend to anyone. Thank you to Olivia and we will hopefully come back for another visit.

Beautiful and peaceful accommodation bordering a stunning salt marsh and nature reserve. My wife and I stayed here for our first anniversary near the end of March 2019. The owners were incredibly welcoming, friendly and easy to talk to & get along with. Plenty of local history information, suggestions and directions for sights of interest, eateries and pubs, wildlife spotting and activities throughout the year.A very well furnished games room, tennis court and our cottage had a hot tub in the garden. Great walking links to the salt marsh, estuary and local village, with a wide selection of wellies available :) ) Wildlife galore in the surrounding fields and woodland! The cottage we stayed in (Orchard Cottage) was fully equipped with modern touches with vintage rural charm, including exposed original wall structure and a wood stove, while the electric heating was great. The sight that welcomed us was a running water wheel.Waking to the sounds of birds, and meeting the farm's ducks, chickens and peafowl was fantastic, as were the grazing highland cattleCertainly will look into bringing a family group here in the future.
