Never did I think that I would owe so much to somebody I had previously never met.Claire was everything I could have ever hoped for, when I was introduced to her after being referred through my employer Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service. Having been diagnosed with PTSD, Claire was there for me every step of the way as I faced PTSD, determined to not only return to life and work, but to thrive. Claire was the anchor in my support network, allowing me to grow through EMDR therapy. I had EMDR Therapy with Claire initally due to experiencing vicarious trauma (compassion fatigue) from the work that I do. Although it also highlighted some personal areas that needed addressing, that I wasn't aware of. It reduced my anxiety, supported me to feel calmer, gave me some grounding resources and some clear next steps for my ongoing healing journey. I am very grateful for the support that Claire gave me.

I saw Claire periodically to mitigate the impact of vicarious trauma. Claire was friendly, warm, very knowledgeable about the impact of trauma and offered me interventions that worked. Without Claire's skill I would still be carrying around many brutal images in my mind.
