What a fabulous bike! I went on a 45 mile ride to Midhurst today and the bike was very much admired. It is everything I wanted in terms of aesthetics, build quality, gear ratios, and comfort, after the work that Lucas put in to make it just the same size as my ORRO GRX. I haven’t had to change a thing! I am so pleased I discovered Vielo, I am delighted! Fabulous service too.

In an industry where so many companies rely on loads of hype and very little substance, it’s refreshing to see a company like Vielo that does the exact opposite.Quality products and legendary customer service is what you can expect from the Vielo team, the nicest most trustworthy guys on the market full stop.Bought a few products from them, can’t wait to get my Vielo V+1 frame and I’ll keep following them closely and recommending them to my friends as you just can’t go wrong with these guys.

Vielo V+1gravel bikeI was going to buy from a big American brand beginning with ’S’ ….. but then I didn’t, because someone said why don’t you take a look at what these guys are doing……. so I did and here’s why.Whilst buying a bike is a transaction, the team at Vielo didn’t make it feel that way, you get the added all important customer experience dimension that has been largely lost in a digital world. I appreciated the help with frame sizing and fit, the explanations to my many questions and their ‘go take it for a test ride bring it back when you’re done’ approach that let the bike speak for itself …. because it can. Its a great piece of engineering that looks fantastic, is a brilliant ride that encourages you to push hard on the pedals and has big fun factor that will leave you with a smile on your face. In short its how a bike should make you feel.I happened to be in their studio when the designer was on site, want to chat about the bike design - no problem, lets talk - now you don’t get that every day, but its part of how they do business and all the better for it.On top of that there are the thoughtful incidentals from the mechanic building my bike such as waiting until I was collecting to ask about brake lever positioning, its a small but important thing that saved me potential messing about with bar tape re-wrapping and lever altering at a later date. As is often said, its the little things.From a buyers perspective they have something of a rare combination, visible passion for the product, a great product, enthusiasm that shows and knowledge to share.Then theres the bike itself, for me its simply brilliant, the details, the build quality, the ride, its fast and comfortable and when you get off it it’s a thing of beauty to look at. Job done.If you are in the market for a gravel (or road) bike look no further, you will not be disappointed.

VIELO V+1 ALTO SRAM Force 12 Speed eTapMy ALTO custom build was assembled by VIELO at pretty short notice, and I am delighted with the full package…all-up weight including pedals and bottle cages is a tad under 8.5kg. The quality of build exceptional, and no snags at all on my first rides.I ride a lot of road, but can safely say that I haven’t had so much fun and satisfaction from a new bike since racing XC hard-tail mountain bikes in the late 80’s and 90’s!Derbyshire Peaks terrain can be challenging, and the ALTO ate it up, with a few segment PB’s even when I thought I was taking it easy to bed things in. I am not a person to fall for bike review clichés, but it is deceptively pacey, and picks up speed immediately you put the power on, including standing up on loose climbs.Handling on gravel cornered descents is precise and confidence building…I haven’t found the limit yet.All in all a great bike that delivers at not much more than half the price of other brand equivalent models considered.

Fantastic bike. Bought mainly as a gravel /2nd bike. But my more expensive Scott road bike as not had a look in since. Just done a trip to Majorca and it was the perfect bike, comfort and performance both excellent

Excellent customer service, my AMP human arrived quickly and man is that stuff good! Seriously improved my ride and muscles felt great during and after some big climbs. thanks!

Took me a while to decide however purchasing a Vielo was the right choice. From the look of it to the handling it’s just awesome. I personally think it’s one of the nicest looking gravel bikes out there. The guys at Vielo were outstanding from the first contact I had with them. Nothing was a bother and all my queries were answered timelessly. Can’t recommend Vielo enough, if you are looking for a gravel bike you will not be disappointed.

The Vielo V+1 is by far the best bike I have ever ridden. I now actively hunt out disused railway lines and gravel tracks to cycle where there are no cars. The bike is so fast I still use it on the road as well (instead of my expensive road bike!), especially when I know there will be potholes. I can ride it in all weathers on all terrains. It’s just awesome!
